At the start of the concession Qbuzz didn't have enough serviceable buses, therefore a wide variety of buses were drafted in from various other smaller operators.

My 4 year old cat Emma presents me with the rare chance to photograph her. It's pretty hard to get her to stay still, let alone look at the camera, but here she is gazing between the vintage table legs of the family dining room table.

Sunrise at the Wharf Street peer in Maroochydore. These are 2 shots blended one for the peer and the moon and a other one for the stars.

Crescent Beach, Surrey BC

Another shot from my Cornwall holiday in St Ives last July, a place that's a veritable cornucopia of captures, and this is one of my prime spots for people photography, the pier, a stage for all sorts of everyday dramas. In this instance I was watching these three people (mother, son-in-law and daughter) walking their dogs, it was an okay shot with a nice touch of symmetry but it just didn't have that special 'moment' that makes a street/pier shot work, then the mum and son-in-law paused and turned around to look back at something...*click*...I like that the daughter chose to walk her shades rather than the dogs. :-)

Tythos Reeds (25)

Tythos is a care free Autum Fleece Satyr of the Eikos tribe. his hair and fur is as red as fallen leaves, his horns are shorter than most of his peers, but hurt just as much if you inure the wrath of his ram attack. having placed second yet again in an archery competition, his rival the night fleece Io Sharp-eyes take first as usual, Tythos left the revelry early to get some target practice in, wanting to improve his skills in preparation for the next contest.

having found a large group of trees growing all in a row with shiny red apples hanging from them, Tythos saw this as the perfect place to practice his aim, with much glee arrows started flying, most hitting the small targets without issue. then the young Satyr heard what sounded like excited yelling, a new friend approached waving a hand held target aloft, seeing a new friend wanted to help him practice, he took his shot, hitting the small metal target with ease, the new friend so excited to see Tythos' skills up close let out a gleeful yell and started yelling for his friend "go-ards," ..."humans have funny names." though the young Satyr.

The new friend's other friend showed up, with a bunch more friends all wearing the same outfit, they seemed to want to play tag, as they began chasing Tythos, for nearly thirty minutes using his superior speed and athletic abilities Tythos evaded his new friend's attempts to catch him. until one of them tossed a net and tripped up the young archer's hoofed legs. wrapped up in a net and surrounded by new friends Tythos laughed gleefully and admitted defeat. "okay, looks like i'm it, now i chase you right?" he asked, the human's merely glared at him.

After several hours tied up in a wagon Tythos started to wonder if maybe the rules for tag are different for human's than they are back home. the wagons continued for several more hours until finally stopping at a large stone building, the largest building he'd ever seen in his life, it is there he spent the next several weeks in a small cell with stone walls and a metal door. but lucky for him there were enough dirt filled cracks in the stone for him to grow some pretty flowers using his limited druidic magic.

after a few weeks locked in the cell he was finally let out and called into another larger stone room with five others, also of various beast races. there was an old guy who said some stuff, Tythos wasn't paying much attention to all that, but finally he was given him bow and wine-skin back, he was told to follow the other animal people, thus the party animals were formed. they walked into the woods, fought some weird giant spider things, found a weird hill and starting digging, until the found a door. they explored the dark stone ruin and hit some corpses that stood up to fight them, until they stopped trying to fight them. then they all seemed to get real tired and wanted to sleep, so they left to sleep outside.

After a not so restful night sleep where everyone seemed to act funny and have bad dreams, they all went back in, there was a brain in a jar that was talking to them, the lizard man ate it. then they found an alter to a giant eyeball monster, the owl man broke it. then they found weird mirrors. they touched them and were sucked into a large dark cavern. where they saw a giant eyeball with tentacles that had more eyeballs attached! the tentacle eyes kept looking at the group and they would seem to be in pain, but nothing ever happened to Tythos then the eyes looked at him, weird, maybe it was a game he didn't know? they all broke the eye balls tentacles, and then the big eye ball which turned into an egg, Tythos shot the egg and sent it away for a few second while they all ran back into the mirrors.

the tentacle eyes dropped weird glowing rocks when they were smashed, after looking at them real hard, the magical bunny man figured out what they are and what they do, the group decided Tythos should have two of them! im sure that will turn out to be a good idea later... so they all headed back to the town the stone building with the metal doors was in, the science bunny man yelled at someone for not knowing who he is, then they all went back to the room they met in and a weird guy that was there with the old guy before gave them all bags of shiny discs, Tythos is told people will give him things for these. this is when the lizard man left, and a human lady joined, she was pretty and had a big sword, but wasn't very nice. they are also offered better armor, Tythos takes some leather and more arrows, also a lantern he can attach to his belt, because Goats cant see in the dark.

Leaving the armory they find a secret tavern, Tythos has heard of these, but never found one before, some very friendly colorful women with horns and tail offered the group food and drink, then took them to a room where they can all get naked and take a back together. there was also something about a magic "truth or dare zone" in the room, but Tythos didn't really understand what that meant, but everyone was very open and honest as they talked.

Having finished their bath they all get ready to head to the rat lady's home in the sewers!.... wait, should they have done this in the other order? oh well. who knows what will happen from here?

B&W of a mid-day capture along Middle River, Maryland. Bulb capture smoothed out the choppy river there.

large- 'peer pressure' On Black

This was probably the one of the most interesting abandoned buildings I've witnessed first hand, because nature had taken over. It was like the ivy was trying to smother the building and erase it's presence, which is the perfect backdrop for a photo shoot. The day was warm, so the tones in the film were a little more orange and red, which made everything look a little older to exaggerate the decaying building covered in robust life. The outside, draped in greenery, was far more interesting than the man made rooms and dust inside, so I just had Cassidy stand at the entrance, looking at what could be explored, but hovering in the space that had already captured our attention.

The red squirrel or Eurasian red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) is a species of tree squirrel in the genus Sciurus common throughout Eurasia. The red squirrel is an arboreal, primarily herbivorous rodent.

In Great Britain, Ireland, and in Italy numbers have decreased drastically in recent years. This decline is associated with the introduction by humans of the eastern grey squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) from North America. However, the population in Scotland is stabilising due to conservation efforts, awareness and the increasing population of the pine marten, a European predator that selectively controls grey squirrels.
