A beautiful pearlescent Lamborghini about to attack the famous Test Hill at Brooklands Race Track in Weybridge, Surrey. Auto Italia magazine have an Italian Car day here every year. The wheel spin and noise was amazing!
This amazing pattern is from a knitted fabric but is not a streight from camera photo. I put an image (see to the left on the photostream) of pillows with faces on them into a kaleidoscope repeatedly (about 20 times or so).
I resized for upload but these are larger than usual so that the fibers can still be seen in the largest versions.
Would make a good pattern for clothing.
Would look amazing printed on a pearlescent or metalic surface.

APS Registration: MY LOVE (Don Hollingsworth, Kansas City, Missouri), April 15, 1992. Seedling #Hollingsworth 1860. Parentage Moon of Nippon x Cytherea. Bloomed before 1980. Double hybrid, of lactiflora type, pearlescent white, has a conical form with no stamens or seeds. It is medium tall, 34" with good stem strength. Prolific flowering on dark green strong bush. Mid- late bloom right after mid-season hybrids.
Small root from GHWild. Only a couple of buds. Other roots in this order were much bigger.

Vanilla sponge cupcakes with raspberry jam, decorated with white fondant icing with an embossed design and delicate fondant icing flowers. The cupcakes were given a light pearlescent dusting to finish.

I couldn't get a decent shot of these tonight because of the lighting in the house, so I had to use the flash. I suppose it adds to the pearlescent appearance of the pin heads.
I don't sew much anymore, but if I'm going to, I'd rather use these colorful pins.
Eithrig is a beautiful art glass charm bead with a base of transparent deep golden yellow. The little dots of silver-rich glass have reacted with the base colour and the mix of gases in the flame to give each a tiny pinpoint of dark blue in the centre of a subtly pearly very pale blue.
Finally, I encased the bead in a layer of clear glass, which has magnified the underlying effect beautifully.

The cherry anthias, also known as the Sakura anthias (a.k.a. Sakuradai () in Japan), is a large, attractive and very hardy member of the family Serranidae (groupers and their allies) and the sub-family Anthiinae (the anthias). Their genus name Sacura refers to their red coloration, like a cherry fruit. The species name margaritacea means "pearly" and describes the white pearlescent spots on the sides of adult males (Jordan and Richardson 1910). They are found on rocky reefs in the coastal waters of Japan usually at depths of 75 to 200 feet (Hemdal 2006). They range throughout the Northwest Pacific Ocean, possibly as far south as at least Taiwan in deeper water (Froese, R. and D. Pauly. Editors. 2009).
Like most anthias, they are protogynous hermaphrodites; as they grow, they transform from juveniles into functional females. As they grow still larger, (and under certain environmental conditions) they become males. The dividing size between females and males is 4.5"; most fish larger than that size are males (Okada 1965). A full grown male can reach 6" standard length (not including the caudal fin and filaments).
In recent years, a few of these fish have entered the aquarium trade in the United States from Japan. Introductory prices have been steep, $250 to $500 retail, depending on the fish's size. However, it is unlikely that this species will see a subsequent price drop as is often noticed in "new to the hobby" fish from other regions. For example, the first mandarin dragonets had a retail price of over $300 back in the early 1970's, but the price dropped to around $20 within a few months (Hemdal 2006). With the Sakura, their origin in a highly developed country, (Japan) means that collectors and shippers of the fish will always require higher compensation for their fish, and the distance they need to be shipped means that transport costs will always be high.
OK, so identify the area that needs polishing, FIRST apply the Nu-Finish to a cloth, then apply THAT Nu-Finish to your finish. If you do it this way as opposed to applying directly to the car, then spreading it, you can more evenly spread it so that there aren't any random lines of extraordinarily deep color on your finish. With paste, obviously, you can't squeeze it out onto your car. I think this might be what the other guys on TI were referring to when they said it was abrasive.

Saw this pearlescent pink scooter in the parking lot when we were eating on the way to the football game, just thought it was nice paint job. Our bus in the background.
The cards were impossible to peel off the screen after inking, meaning I tended to get blurring of the type. By taping them down I got a much tighter print – but it did slow me down a bit.

Meet Little Miss Lavender, a lovingly customised Middie Blythe by me, Fifilatrixabel.
She is a Puchipu Chappu Peppa and was bought new to customise.
She has my signature pouty lips for a little girl lost look and has blushy cheeks with cute freckles in pink and purple. her nose has also been carved into a cute button shape, and blushed.
Her eyeballs were exchanged with Lena Elena's green ones as green and purple is my fave combination. Here eyelids are painted a pearlescent purple to match her hair and her eyelashes are trimmed to make them look more natural.
On her backplate I have drawing of lavendar on her backplate plus the Fifi♥ signature and year of her birth, 2014.
