polymer clay hearts all approx1 cm by 1cm.
Translucent polymer clay heart beads covered in diff` coloured powders then baked then varnished [matt]and painted with pearlescent powder before being varnished again.Tiny 2mm by 2mm clear glass divider beads.
Set on a clear elasticated thread.
Two Ammonite fossilised members of the Nautilus family showing the inner of the two layers of the shell which is iridesent in colour . The smaller of the two has been buffed leaving the pearlescent blue between the ridged Septa ( chamber walls ) visible .
The snake is a pet Python ( carpet snake ) named Ronald .

This has been worked from the plastic inner lining of a cereal packet. I backed it with wadding and overpainted the stitching with pearlescent tinting medium.
The photograph does not do justice to the shimmering effect this surface gives.

Made to pair with the Swirled Flowers KISS Necklace (but can certainly stand on its own!), this polymer clay ring features a steel skeleton for enduring strength. The band has been textured, and brushed with gold mica powder; the "gem" features a miniature, stylized rose perched on top of a white mica brushed, pearlescent polymer pillow. size 5.5-6
Secondary hull--you can see the original pearlescent paint--designed for taxidermy work on fish scales--on the forward part of the hull around where the deflector dish is mounted.

This funky vessel began as a mold from half of a coconut shell. Inside is pearlescent colors, and the entire thing is encrusted in all sorts of fantastical sea life- of course the huge starfish draped over the edge, sea weed, barnacles, coral, sea anemones and a few shells.
100% polymer clay with a light wash of gray acrylic paint.
This little dish measures 4 1/2 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches high. Please see other views here:
This 1935-1938 Parker Vacumatic fountain pen, possibly the "Slender" model, in laminated green emerald DuPont pearlescent celluloid, was a gift from Peter Beck, restored per advice by the Fountain Pen Shop's Fred P. Krinke. Stuart Hawkinson replaced the missing "jewel": the laminated celluloid cone secured by the metal "tassie ring" at the end of the barrel. I went to Greg Minuskin to re-tip the broken nib, which is a specialty of his, but ended up asking him to also take the next step, overall restoration. Three days later he emailed a summary: "New diaphragm installed in your Parker Vacumatic, light polish up to the cap and barrel, and the all important retip is now done to factory looking spec’s. Even re-plated your nib for you in the correct two tone pattern, no extra charge!"

This new lens is a work of art. It's simply gorgeous. Entirely hand made, fully metal construction, hand etched Shippo-yaki markings (pearlescent cloisonne enamel), very limited edition. The epitome of Japanese engineering and art. It's wide angle at 31mm and fast at f/1.8. Voted one of the best prime lenses EVER made by Popular Photography. These lenses are semi-legendary in their construction and sharpness. This is the latest HD variant of this lens designed for digital cameras and even the lens cap is metal and lined with velvet. I've been waiting several months for this day and I cannot wait to shoot with this bad boy. Expensive? Sure. But it's an investment right? 😁

The textile lace texture usually associated with lingerie has now been translated into wallcovering product. The lace is laminated onto a non woven backer and coated with pearlescent and metallic colours. The final finish and look offers a luxurious product in rich colours for use in a multitude of interior spaces.
Pearlescent paint job is impressive, difficult to capture in a picture. Not least since D90 tends to overexpose, blowing out one colour and messing up the colour balance of the high-lights.

My LE Wedding Cinderella Doll has been fully deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by the included display stand. With her floor length multi-layered skirt she should be able to free stand, but I didn't haven't tried to stand her that way. She is photographed from all angles.
On my second attempt to get the Limited Edition Wedding Cinderella 17'' Doll from eBay, I finally got her! I got her with the help of a fellow collector. She is #450 of 500, and was originally sold by the Japan Disney Store. There is a Japanese sticker on the bottom of the box. She was shipped double boxed, and very well packed. She arrived in perfect condition.
She is very beautiful, and has a serene expression, rather than the grumpy pout of the LE Ballgown Cinderella doll. Her lips have a slight smile, which is part of why she has a more pleasant expression than the other doll, who shares the same face mold. She is glancing in the opposite direction of the Ballgown Cinderella, and her skin has a matte surface, rather than the shiny pearly surface of the Ballgown doll. Her pale yellow wedding gown has many differently sized and colored rhinestones enhancing the printed floral pattern. There are also several small jeweled plastic butterflies in the skirt, hidden amongst the flowers. The decorations continue throughout the back of the dress. There are also faux pearl buttons on her sleeves and on the back of her bodice. Her skirt is very full with a long train, and is in three differently colored layers. Under her skirts is a 3/4 length single layer tulle petticoat. Attached to her hair is an oversized pale yellow sheer chiffon veil. She has golden earrings and a jeweled golden tiara. Her wedding ring is a floral design with five golden beads; it is pinned to her hand. She has the old style legs, with fixed ankles. She is wearing simple ivory heels, with no decorations.
I will be posting a full set of detailed photos of this doll. She will be shown boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed, both by herself and with other Disney Store dolls.

Deboxing my LE Wedding Cinderella. The cardboard backing has been removed from the inner box, and is free standing. The doll is attached to the backing by wires and plastic ties. The background image is the exterior stairs of the Castle at night.

I didn’t have any white gesso on hand (but I couldn’t wait to play!) so I embedded the foil strips into acrylic texture gel and added sand, salt, liquid acrylic paints, lumiere paints and pearlescent powders.

My 2015 Elsa Limited Edition 17'' Doll, fully deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by the included doll stand.
The Limited Edition Elsa Doll, released in stores in North America on March 3, 2015. My doll is #2942 of 5000. She is in jeweled purple felt (made from faux wool). This is the outfit she wore as an 18 year old when saying good bye to her parents before their overseas journey. She is wearing ice blue jeweled satin gloves, which help repress her ice powers. Her hands are clasped together. Her pose and look are that of a sternly repressed nature. She is standing in front a purple window of the Castle, which is closed, as she is closed to the outside world.
She is wearing black flats with floral decoration. Her jacket is pinned to her dress, which I left alone, as it helps to keep the jacket from opening up. There was a large amount of tissue paper stuffing under her skirt. I had to remove her from the doll stand before I could remove the tissue.
She has shiny pearlescent skin, and her skin tone is between that of Coronation Elsa and Snow Queen Elsa. In bright lighting, her skin is iridescent with a a purple sheen. Her hair is slicked down in the front and is in a bun in the back. There is gold tinsel in her hair, even in her side burns.
