The one good thing about the pandemic is that I have more free time and life is not such a rush. I have never made a pie before so this was my first attempt sort of. The pie crust is chocolate, butter and Rice Krispies. I had a very small slice it is very rich and sweet.

Len got hungry, so he made himself some open face peanut butter sandwiches to snack on with some milk to help wash them down.

A good way to ratchet up the excitement on an otherwise dull bird day is to layout the peanuts! Corvids have a 9th sense for detecting peanuts and usually show-up within minutes after peanuts appear!
Mama didn't teach this sandpiper what to do with a peanut, but it did not take long to learn. Panama City, FL - July 2014

Taking a break from the Enchantment photos to post a few pics of my new 4 week old guinea pig "Peanut", aka "MopTop". At one time, I had 7 female guinea pigs...I only had two left, one being 7+ year old "Ella" who passed away 2 weeks ago of what I believe was old age....That left Callie all alone & in her 5 years, she has never been alone...so first i tried to find a guinea pig to adopt & no success...so off to Creature Comforts where i buy my dogs' food & I fell in love with this little one:). She has already grown since I took these photos!!

This is kind of similar to the other one I did earlier but I wanted another pic for the blog recipe.
Turns out this is easy to make with the right blender. It's supposed to keep a week in the fridge, but I reckon it'll all be eaten before then
I don't know how he did this. When you take a digital photo, there is that micro time where the screen goes blank and then it shows you the shot. He either dropped it out of his mouth or mishandled it right after he grabbed it.
Okay!!! So, my Happy LLL group is not going to make since finding Large Lazy Lounging Lizards isn’t always that easy. I must admit that I have a large number of photos that I have never gone through and decided to do that. There is a rather large alligator that resides in the horseshoe bends on Horsepen Bayou and you recognize him immediately when you see him. My friend Gary named him Big Boy!! Big Boy is in the 13-foot range and definitely commands respect. This is his counterpart on Armand Bayou and usually hangs out about a mile and half from the bridge up Armand Bayou. He is well over 12 feet and even though he is not as long as Big Boy I believe that he is every bit as wide. He is one massive alligator. Never aggressive and tends to be very calculated with his moves. He has also been in a number of battles because his right eye is injured as is the tip of his lower jaw. Definitely large enough to land a small plane on his back…LOL!! I think I’m going to call him Peanut…just not to his face. Not the best shot but I wanted to show how wide and thick he is.
