A few weeks ago on facebook I wrote:
"The process of becoming is a complicated one. Doubt lingers around every bend with the promise of failure. Who we become as we become is not as important as the process--because it is through this toil, this tussle with fate, that we truly begin to understand the intricacies behind our birth."
As I continue to define, tweak, redefine and tweak some more I am recognizing I need a break to collect my thoughts. I'm not sure how long I will be gone, but I promise this time won't be spent sitting on my ass. I'll be working on my art and my first full fledge photography project.

In the dying days of steam on the Nancha-Jiamusi CNR main line, immaculately presented QJ No.6262 pauses in a heavy snowfall for a crew change at Nancha on 29th March 1997, heading a northbound refrigerated freight for 'Jams', probably conveying perishables from the south of China.

11579 (YX23OPG) pauses in Grasmere before continuing onto Keswick on route 555, the stunning hills set the backdrop on a cloudy afternoon.
If there's a stereotypical street photography scene, this is it. Taking a break always looks more badass if you sit in a backstreet.

Le village de Nevy sur Seille est bâti à l'entrée des reculées de Baume-les-Messieurs, de Blois et de Ladoye. Il est surplombé par Château-Chalon et la vigne s'étend tout autour du bourg.
Le fond de la vallée est traversé par la Seille dont l'énergie a fait fonctionner un moulin à blé, un moulin à huile, une taillanderie et une scierie...
