Title : "Long break ..."
Hello tout le monde,
Depuis plusieurs semaines, le cœur n'y est plus et l'envie aussi.
Je vais donc prendre un petit break sur Flickr, le temps de me ressourcer et de me changer les idées.
D'où mon titre, en jeu de mots, pour cette petite pose longue faite l'an passé à la sortie d'une source.
En conséquences, beaucoup de groupes que j'administre, seul ou en partenariat avec d'autres sont fermés.
Il vous faudra attendre mon retour pour publier, désolé; sauf si un autre administrateur a envi de ré-ouvrir.
Cette photo fait partie d'une série d'essais que j'avais réalisé avec un filtre ND 1000.
J'en ai fait d'autres mais je ne suis pas vraiment "content" des résultats... Je pinaille... Je pinaille...

Cuernavaca (Mexique) - Cuernavaca est la capitale de l'État de Morelos, située à environ 80 km de Mexico City. Cette ville accueille de nombreuses villas de luxe qui ressemblent à des camps retranchés avec de hauts murs ornés de barbelés, des miradors avec des hommes armés et de nombreuses caméras de surveillance. Pour cause, de nombreux narcotrafiquants, en toute impunité, y ont élu domicile pour sa proximité avec la capitale et la douceur de son microclimat.
En revanche, le centre historique de la ville est plutôt agréable. Ce n’est pourtant pas une destination particulièrement touristique pour les étrangers en raison de la présence des chefs des cartels mexicains. Personnellement, je me suis dit qui si les narcotrafiquants résidaient ici, ce n’est sans doute pas pour y faire régner la terreur. J’ai eu raison, les quatre jours passés sur place se sont déroulés sans incident, ni sentiment d’insécurité. Bien entendu je me suis abstenu d’aller faire des photos des villas des chefs de gangs. En revanche, je suis passé à deux reprises en taxi dans ce quartier résidentiel ; à mon arrivée de la gare routière et pour repartir de la ville.
Cette photo a été prise le matin dans une rue du centre ville. J’étais sur le trottoir d’en face. Au début j’ai cru que les deux homme avaient eu une nuit bien arrosée et qu’ils cuvaient. Mais dans mon viseur j’ai vu qu’ils ne buvaient que des sodas. Une preuve de plus qu’il faut s’abstenir de tout jugement hâtif.
Cuernavaca (Mexico) - Cuernavaca is the capital of the state of Morelos, approximately 80 km from Mexico City. This city is home to many luxury villas that resemble entrenched camps with high walls decorated with barbed wire, watchtowers with armed men and numerous surveillance cameras. For good reason, many drug traffickers, with complete impunity, have taken up residence there for its proximity to the capital and the mildness of its micro-climate.
On the other hand, the historic center of the city is rather pleasant. It is not a particularly tourist destination due to the presence of Mexican cartel leaders. Personally I said to myself that if drug traffickers resided here, it is probably not to create a reign of terror. I was right, the four days spent there passed without incident or feeling of insecurity. Of course I refrained from going to take photos of the gang leaders’ villas. On the other hand, I passed by taxi through this residential area twice when I arrived from the bus station and returned there when I left.
This photo was taken in the morning on a street in the city center. I was on the opposite sidewalk. At first I thought that the two men had had a drunken night and were drunk. But in my viewfinder I saw that they were only drinking sodas. Further proof that we must always refrain from any hasty judgment.
When my friend arrived on the summit of Cheam Mountain this summer, she pointed in this direction and said how much she liked it. I got all animated and told her and everyone else (3 people) that "wow! really?! that's my favourite part of this 360 view too. I took that exact photo 10 minutes ago! blah, blah..." She told me to be quiet. Maybe she's right, I'm a dork sometimes.
Due to a temporary working conflict, we must have a more professional friendship. Outings like this will have to wait.
So, until then. I hope she enjoys the view. :)
