today I made some cards - this one was a favorite. I'm partial to yellow

Janel's challenge was to write a letter to yourself - I added a little drawing of myself and then realised I look like Thelma from Scooby Doo! LOL!!!!

I created this card using sketch #3 for this month's challenge. I tweaked it a little bit, but overall I'm pretty satisfied.

Hi All,

Well, today's layout came together quicker than most others since I was intentionally trying to be imperfect. My title is wonky, the upper white border strip was peeled off 3 times and then just put down...I messed up both ends of the strips so just "hid" them with the flower chipboard on top and the colored borders on the bottom. Trimmed a smidgen off the right edge to accommodate for the overlap of my journaling spot. TFL.

ps: what is it with me and the blue/red combo this time around??

Made from chipboard with patterned paper on both sides, Crystal Stickers "Elements" red jewels, ribbon, jingle bells. I used a copper reindeer cookie cutter I bought a few years ago from Williams-Sonoma and traced the outline onto chipboard, used a Tim Holtz Tonic scissors and X-acto knife to cut it out and two sides of patterned paper adhered with UHU glue stick.

Made this card a while ago but had to wait until my supplies order arrived to add the sentiment, lol! I used one of the butterflies HA templates and then covered it with some Pebeo glitter touch.
