Danica Patrick outbrakes E.J. Viso into turn 1. Viso got on the gas quicker and beat Danica out of the corner, but it was short lived as she passed him for good later in the lap.

Patrick Jones speaks as a panelist at "Cyber Security: Channeling the Momentum at Home and Abroad," during the IGF-USA conference in Washington, D.C. on July 26, 2012.
these are my roommates. guy is israeli, 24, a very good friend, and the laziest person i ever met. this is one of the laziest towns in all of north america, and he is one of the laziest people here, making him by a twisted sort of logic, on eof the laziest people presently in the northern, western hemisphere. patrick, an irishman, is exactly the opposite. he surfs at least twice a day, holds down a full(ish) time teaching job, and brushes his teeth every night for at least 8 minutes with his electric toothbrush. if i were to start an army in town, i would pick him to be on my team.

Patrick was a brave guy and went on the roof to retrieve the balls the kids had thrown up there.... getting back down was the hard part.... he had to jump.
"O commemorate me where there is water
Canal water preferably, so stilly
Greeny at the heart of summer. Brother
Commemorate me thus beautifully
Where by a lock Niagriously roars
The falls for those who sit in the tremendous silence
Of mid-July. No one will speak in prose
Who finds his way to these Parnassian islands.
A swan goes by head low with many apologies,
Fantastic light looks through the eyes of bridges–
And look! a barge coes bringing from Athy
And other far-flung towns mythologies.
O commemorate me with no hero courageous
Tomb—just a canal-bank seat for the passer-by."
—Patrick Kavanagh
Patrick is involved with Oracle’s Global Volunteer Days (GVD), an initiative in which Oracle employees gets a chance to volunteer for various opportunities.
Patrick coordinated the entire GVD process for Oracle Ireland and was a project lead for two of the Global volunteer events.
He advertised, volunteered, coordinated and promoted the large majority of the charitable and voluntary work which took place in Oracle since his arrival in May 2008.
Last year’s projects included environmental restoration work for Fingal Co Council, Cake and Coffee Morning for Our Ladies Hospice Harold’s Cross, a Halloween Party for the Children of the Central Remedial Clinic Clontarf, restoration work for the Simon Community and restoration work for the Open Heart House in Dublin.
Patrick also led a fundraising campaign for Oracle in association with Action Prostate Cancer, the campaign now known as Movember. He also acted as a point of contact for employees who wanted to volunteer or raise money for charity through advising and consulting and ultimately maximising their effectiveness.
Record numbers of volunteers have been recruited and funds were raised for various charities.
Generally this is in recognition of the energy and effort Patrick has put into enabling all staff of Oracle Ireland to have multiple opportunities to get involved - his attitude to Corporate Responsibility has injected new life and galvanised support from many corners of the business.
A happy PATRICK MULLINS after he broke the record for number of wins by an Amateur rider in the year aboard ZUZKA.

SB-600 hand held of to the right. I triggered it myself as he was in the air. I left the shutter open for about 10 sec. The trails are from lights attached to his shoe. The moon is also in the background where his hand is. I really love this shot as it captures the motion of patrick. The police showed up immediately after this shot was taken as well.
I brought my boys from the home out with some of their friends to the land we just bought to play some soccer. They had a blast in the hot Haiti sun!
