Continuing with my photoshoot from Point Pelee over the Easter weekend...
While the title states this path led to "nowhere", thats not exactly true. Just beyond the bend you see in the photograph is the beach, which is associated with the most southern tip of mainland Canada :)
"So many Gods, so many creeds,
So many paths that wind and wind,
When just the art of being kind
Is all this sad world needs".- Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Couldn't do much with this apart from everything. Toned it, layered it, filtered it, over noised reduced it, wrapped it, packed it and threw it on the net.
Water flows from further up a mountain through this tiny cave. The flow rate is low, but there is more than enough water to keep the ground damp.
Sun shines through the trees, illuminating the Lookout Trail in Balsam Lake Provincial Park, Ontario.
Path leading down to the river weaver, it's completely enclosed by these trees and is quite magical, especially with the sun inviting you towards the other end.
4 July 2011. Spring Path in summer. This part of Hampstead seems to have umpteen more trees than people. But then, so does every part of Hampstead
That strange old silver, black and red box stuck in the tarmac seems vaguely familiar. Must be some sort of historical artefact. I wonder what it was for?

---- The procession after a long journey, is arrived on the steps leading to the cathedral ----

Fiumedinisi (ME), eve of the Feast of Our Lady of the Annunciation, 2013: this is a "penitential procession" understood as "the Travels" (or also commonly called "procession of kneeling"), in which the faithful, almost all women, proceeding on their knees, sometimes even barefoot, along a narrow street, about 800 meters long, almost always dark, lit only in some places, especially illuminated by the dim light from robust candles, also used as support from every penitent; the procession starts inside the church of S. Peter, to continue until the stairway in front of the Cathedral (which is also a Marian Shrine), who once traveled, still on their knees, will bring every penitent devout inside the Sanctuary, always proceeding on their knees, in front of the statues of Our Lady and Angel Gabriel, placed one in front of the other, at the foot of the main altar ....
In my opinion the different religions come from the same thing, they are different interpretations of energy points. It doesn't make them invalid because it works for some people, but if everybody had the awareness of these energy points I believe it would be easier to control the flux of negativeness around the world.
I chose to treat the catholic and the jew religion with irony not be any specific reason, but just to show that we are all made up of the same thing, and our religion shouldn't limit what our instincts tell us to do. It wouldn't be wrong for the jew to grab a non's breast if he weren't a jew and she weren't a noun. People would judge if my mom decided she needed a boob job, but a non having a boob job is just ironic, besides the fact that I believe that we should love our body's, therefor I do not believe in altering them unless they are putting us in danger.
