I took a trip with my cousin to the east coast of Scotland, this is the pier at St Monans, Fife. Along the way we took in some sights including Inverkeithing Bay, Weymss Coves and the Standing Stones of Lundin. We arrived at St Monans just in time for sunset. The sun set and we were blessed with a good half an hour of pinky atmosphere. I hope you have a good Sunday.

Mal wieder konnte ich mich schlecht zwischen der Farb- und SW-Variante entscheiden. Vielleicht werde ich auch die SW-Version noch posten. Entstanden ist das Foto am Sella Joch mit Blick auf den Langkofel.
Once again I couldn't decide between the color version and the black and white one. Maybe I'll post the SW version too. The photo was taken on the 'Sella Joch' with a view of the Langkofel.
Nov 7 was a warm Sunday and great day for a drive to Wentworth Falls. I hadn't realized that the leaves in this area are mostly golden and there were very few reds.
From our walk last Sunday around Tottiford reservoir. Parts of that lovely short walk pass through mixed woodland - this is the path leading back to the reservoir which is lined with some beautiful old beech trees.

The Sakura Path
Plum Point , Newburgh, NY
I am doing a series on paths along the Hudson. The trees are old and historic. This area was very active during the Revolutionary War. Washington was in Newburgh for 18 months at the end of the war. West Point was about 15 miles south of Newburgh, and there was a lot of communications and messages between Washington and West Point. This might have been one of the paths used by messengers. To me, this path feels magical. I am trying to convey the sense and feeling of the area.
