This camera belonged to my Aunty Jean and was given to me by my Dad. As far as we could tell it worked ok if a little dusty. I cleaned it up as best I could and stuck a roll of film in it. I was hoping it would work but was prepared for it to be come a nice memento to sit on a shelf. The photos have actually come out pretty well and with a little practice I think I can learn to do better.
There aren't usually straight lines in life, even when it looks like it.
I try not to interfere with the scenes I shot on the street, but I couldn’t avoid it this time, the point of view I wanted was exactly on that man’s trajectory, and that’s why he is on the wrong side of the track. He was following a straight line before some annoying photographer stood on his way… ;)
You want to see stupid - I had paused when I see this group head to the Mt. Sheep which there were 10 counting the new born one - this guy just couldn't get close enough to the Ewe which she was tagged and collared - with her new born. She kept her self between this guy and her new born which you can see between her leg's.

This is a HDR taken a few days ago. I haven't done much HDR work for a while as I'm getting good results using RAW in Capture NX. HDR worked well here because it cut through the early morning mist and gave the photo nice vibrant contrasting colours.
This pattern is formed by flow paths of relatively salty water which then left lighter colored patterns over the darker clays and silts below them, especially near the ends of the flow.
I have no idea why the flow was so jagged, but it was interesting.
This gravel path is uneven in places & the effect was enhanced by the shadows across the path in bright sunshine today.

In the Portuguese language, a stone path is associated with hardship. Expressions like "his life is a stone path" or "I've walked the stone path all my life" all refer to leading a hard life.
Now, imagine you are barefoot....
