Imperial path finder scouting in a lush damp forest.
Decided to remake my speeder bike and added afig and a base to it.
What do you think?
Detour
A fresh deadfall blocked the path; the detour, however, was clearly marked.
No snow for us today, so here is one from a couple weeks ago when I walked down to Durand Eastman Park on a lovely day with soft snow falling all around.

I have been doing so many from my Urban set lately, I was feeling the need to get back to my roots. Taken several weeks ago along the Booth Falls Trail, these wonderful groves of Aspen Trees are found to the NW of Vail, Colorado.

One of the pictures to see the different look of HP5 rated @ 1600 (pushed two stops) in comparison to Delta 3200 rated @ 1600 (the actual sensitivity of this film).
Using the Novar triplet lens with wide aperture f/5.6 results in a distinct softening, which adds to the background softening from the limited depth of field.
A frozen path, during a walk in Picardie, this winter.
Un sentier gelé, durant une promenade en Picardie, cet hiver.
Final stop last weekend was Randolph's Leap on the River Findhorn. Unfortunately is was to be a shorter visit than expected due to Iain taking a tumble on the slippery path, thankfully no serious injury. The sun was just above the tree line and almost central in the frame so required a short wait and some judiciious cropping to capture this.
The green canopy of summer has given way to the barren oak trees of winter. Made with a Leica SL and Elmarit 24-90 lens. For more go to www.elviskennedy.com
This path is part of a route that travels from Haswell to Hart. This part is near Castle Eden. More green is taking over the trees as the leaves start to open.
taken last 2007 spring time. it was raining hard and later this glorious ray of sunshine broke through the clouds. It was a inspiration...it thought me that there is always light after the storm. Great lesson specially during this crisis brought by the recession.
Sticky situations are never pleasant, remember time keeps ticking and it will be over soon, have courage endure it! Also wonderful moments are passing you by everyday, take time to notice them and enjoy!

Whenever I can, love to take a walk in this part of oporto city. This breakwater, especially, is in really beautiful place, where the river meets the sea. So sometimes the sea here is a bit dangerous and creates some waves that pass over the breakwater.
This was the precise moment that a big wave was hitting the breakwater, flooding it. After this shot had to run for cover :P but didn't run fast enough so came home all wet.. well, at least the picture was worth it and both me and the camera safely returned home. (this wasn't during a sea storm or something like that, it was just one especially big wave)
