After leaving the last cave we continued our walking around the Big and Little Collapse Dolines and we admire the landscapes of the Karst region :)
The Karst region, famous for its karst phenomena, is a unique corner of Slovenia. It was here that the first studies were conducted on how water shapes, hollows out and dissolves limestone rocks, and the word "karst" itself comes from the name of this region.

You previously saw a wide shot of that waterfall called "Misol-Ha, Litteral Mexican Watering Hole" where I offered you to find the little guy walking for scale.
Now, here we are on that path he was walking, allowing me to show you how intense those waterfalls really are from close and how green the entire place is.

Managed to get up early Friday morning and head out to shoot The Millennium Bridge & St. Paul's from the South Bank for sunrise. While I was there I shot a few long exposure but also made an attempt at my second ever time-lapse called The Path Timelapse (funnily enough).

taken last 2007 spring time. it was raining hard and later this glorious ray of sunshine broke through the clouds. It was a inspiration...it thought me that there is always light after the storm. Great lesson specially during this crisis brought by the recession.
Sticky situations are never pleasant, remember time keeps ticking and it will be over soon, have courage endure it! Also wonderful moments are passing you by everyday, take time to notice them and enjoy!

I am close to being back.....
Whenever I can, love to take a walk in this part of oporto city. This breakwater, especially, is in really beautiful place, where the river meets the sea. So sometimes the sea here is a bit dangerous and creates some waves that pass over the breakwater.
This was the precise moment that a big wave was hitting the breakwater, flooding it. After this shot had to run for cover :P but didn't run fast enough so came home all wet.. well, at least the picture was worth it and both me and the camera safely returned home. (this wasn't during a sea storm or something like that, it was just one especially big wave)
A log lies in the way just ahead for me to not trip and fall over. It is a cluttered path that quickly loses clarity and goes who knows where.
The biggest obstacles are yet unseen. But oh how wondrous the hike, with colors to behold and textures to grasp.
A picturesque path winding through a vibrant autumn forest, lined with colorful foliage and a metal fence. The dappled sunlight creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
