Nothing beats summer in the North!
Best thing about traveling to Northern Norway, Sweden or Finland during summer months is the endless light. Why hike during daytime when everyone's out? Instead, I prefer head out after 9pm, enjoy golden light and quiet paths.
This picture was taken along beautiful Litlverivassforsen trail in mid-July 2024. Almost 15km of solutiude, with only few fellow hikers. And best of it all? We got to enjoy beautiful waterfall all by ourselves.

It’s your path and you are alone in the night time and lead their lights. Always keep forward while you have legs.
I might be making a mistake, but I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be the path to the Tjäktjatjåkka glacier. Like most glaciers we saw this past summer it's been extremely damaged by global warming.
This was the hike along the Stuor Reaiddavággi, connecting the Vistasvagge valley and the Tjäktjapasset mountain pass.
Wish I could say this is 100% sooc but I had to remove one spot in the trees..... didn't notice it until I got home...
Other than that, I took a few testers to find the right white balance to make the sodium pretty and came up with this.
My original idea was thwarted tonight by damn security that came and lingered as soon as I arrived. I looked around in the field where I took refuge, and found this tree. Improv shot for the night, had to get out for mah birfday and wasn't gonna give up after all the effort.

Other people may be there to help us, teach us, guide us along our path, but the lesson to be learned is always ours.

A journey begins with the first step. When we learned to walk, we started our journey called life .. we choose our own paths through the years after. Some might have taken the wrong one, but that doesn’t mean, that he/she can’t find his/her own way back to the right track.
Remember, if we stand before a crossroad, the road less traveled, might not be the easiest way to get to our destination, but you can leave your footprints behind so somebody can follow.
