"Breakfast at Tiffany's" is my favorite movie. I chose pink to represent the hot pink dress Holly Golightly wears and of course, her classic black dress with rows of pearls during the opening credits. I didn't have any black fabric in my stash so this dark slate gray will have to do and the pink batik is sort of solid-ish :)

This started out as an embroidery piece with rows of machine stitching & couched yarns. It was cut into squares and re assembled. The blue rectangle was applied after - it's made of friendly plastic & tangle tuft.
I'm aiming at doing 2 journals each month, so that's it for April.

I raid second hand shops for the odd pj's, mainly tops, that appear and sell for about $0.50 each. The white is a $3 sheet from the same place. Chop them up and sew and presto a quilt

Bueno por fin he comprado telas de verdad para hacer patchwork, aunque són carÃssimas han valido la pena. Tengo un projecto en mente i muchas ganas de trabajar a ver si me sale algo bonito con estaas magnificas telas ;)
A queen-sized patchwork quilt I worked on for a customer in the UK. I FMQ'd names of the whole family randomly, and included a poem on the back as a surprise from her husband :) Adorable!
