Patch pocket added for tissues, credit card, keys..

The Demolition site smelt less like stale urine yesterday morning after a big rain storm the night before - so I went in to take some more photos of the great stencil art in there.

I was chasing my sister and ran into the wall. This is the resulting patch job.

We arrived to the zoo shortly after opening and to our dismay, Patches wasn't out. We walked beneath just to make sure, and when we got back to the top viewing area, she came out. She seemed a little sleepy.

The eighteenth patch on the jacket depicts a cartoon C-3PO. The patch was acquired from an EBay seller. The patch has been sewn on the bottom right hand side of the front of the jacket near the central buttons.

How exciting to discover Bloodroot in blossom this early in the spring! Our weather has been cooler than usual, but here are these tiny plants in bloom already.

 

We had never before seen Bloodroot growing in this area, just beyond the pedestrian bridge over Jackson Creek.
