Patch I made for Sarah as a going away gift. The star is appliqued on and there is some tulle action that doesn't really come out in this photo.

2011 PUMPKIN PATCH

Drew, a student at St. Susanna Schol in Mason.

You may have seen the "Secret Squirrel" patch around. There's even one clearly visible in the movie Zero Dark Thirty. You can get them, in many colors and materials from Milspec Monkey.

But I designed them. And for a few years, bought hundreds at a time, took orders from locals and obscure military/government/police forums (the US Secret Service were particular fans) and mailed them out. Eventualy, I got tired of this, so gave it to Money Boy to deal with instead.

The tenth patch on the jacket was produced by www.slimymudhole.com and given away at Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando, Florida in August 2012. It features a worse for wear green Jedi master doing what I'll be doing plenty of at Star Wars Celebration Europe II ... downing a frothy beer! It's in the middle left hand section of the main panel of the back of the jacket.

These photos are not mine, but of people who bought them back in the day. There is no PERSEC violation as far as I can tell plus they are all pretty old.

What is Fiber Optic Patch cord

Fiber patch cords / pigtails are one of the most widely used basic components in optical communications. A fiber cable with a connector at both ends is called a jumper and only one connector at one end is called a pigtail.

They are passive components for realizing the active connection of different devices and systems in optical fiber communication, and are an important part of optical fiber and optical cable wiring management systems. It is used in conjunction with the fiber distribution frame, the junction box, and the terminal box to achieve the fusion of the optical cables in different directions. The flexible distribution of jumpers and wiring enables efficient and flexible management and maintenance of the entire fiber-optic communication network.

Fiber patch cords are used to make patch cords from the device to the fiber optic cabling link. It is with a thicker protective layer of Kevlar yarn and PVC or LSZH. Fiber Patch cord is generally used in the connection between the optical transceiver and the terminal box.

Optical fibers are mainly divided into two categories:

Single-mode fiber: Generally, the fiber jumper is indicated by yellow, the connector and the cover are blue, and the transmission distance is long.

Multi-mode fiber: Generally, the fiber jumper is indicated by orange, and some are indicated by gray. The connector and cover are made of beige and the transmission distance is short.

She has a habit of over eating and over grooming. Therefore she is fat and licks her belly bald. If she wasn't so fat I think she would groom herself completely bald.

Patches is a super sweet calico girl who will come when called and is content to sit next to you or curl up in a ball and nap. Patches is incontinent due to a birth defect, so she would do best in a home with someone who will take care of her special needs. She gets along with other cats and is always happy to receive affection and petting from her human friends.

Pumpkin patching!

A metal patch welded onto a sheet pile retaining wall. (252a)

Patched the reporting marks and doing a did a little weathering on the covered hopper, need some more practice.

The previous owner weathered the deck.

Something new for me - these two were at the front end of an empty coal train. I've seen one patch per train before, but never a double. I hope there's not any die-hard SP fans in here, but this to me was ONE UGLY TRAIN!

Interestingly enough, when I drove back down this afternoon, they had placed a standard UP paint unit in front of these - perhaps it was the DPU brought from the end. Certainly interesting to me, anyway!
