copyright 2014 M. Fleur-Ange Lamothe - I had some leftover blue material from making a tent for my granddaughter's Barbies that would echo the other colour on the umbrella and would be water-repellent. I had been attracted and working with the oval shape during Sandra Brownlee's workshop, and I am not yet done playing with that shape. And why not two ovals! And some written words for good measure.

I printed some WICKED back patches! They are printed on canvas with black oil block printing ink.

If you want one, we can trade or send $5-10!

This H3 GEVO must have had a catastrophic engine failure as the hood doors are a mix of H2, H3 and primer painted ones. These are the moderately-graded BNSF tracks, with the UP line visible up the hill between the locos and the trucks on the two levels of the I-15 freeway (itself an impressive piece of work).

Here's one of the old patches. Pretty, isn't it?

Even though the tube is through, you can still use it if you want to.

Anyone know what this patch is? It was on a Navy Seal.

My favorite so far, "Little Waif" - complete OOAK thematic set for Sprocket dolls by Connie Lowe.

This time I chose to use only finest materials in each and every item of the outfit.

The *romper* and the *hat* are knitted from softest organic cotton thread and assembled "wrong side" out. The legs of the romper are in mismatched length and the longer leg has natural suede patch on the knee. The romper closes with two coconut buttons, also mismatched in size.

A pair of boots is made of genuine leather in beautiful very dark olive color. They are higher than usual and can be folded or unfolded, and this way they fit mismatched length of romper legs. One of the boots adorned with a funny charm depicting homeless cat catching a mouse.

A duffle bag is sewn of softest natural suede (like the patch on the romper) and is totally functional. It can contain little felted bunny that completes the set.

The bunny - little waif's loyal companion - is felted by me from natural wool in wonderful woodsy colors. I tried to give him a peculiar look of a toy that could be found in the street - old, "damaged"... Someone's lost and very dear friend.

Early morning clouds sit atop a rise over Gardiner, Montana, near Yellowstone's North Entrance. Had it not been illuminated in the growing daylight I would never have noticed this large patch of bright red soil. I'm not sure what the origin might be, unless perhaps it's a thermal area with an abundance of iron.

Our maintenance crews have patched this joint up with concrete and determination for nearly 30 years. In summer 2013 this joint, along with several others on the ramp will be replaced. Cheers!

Here are some hats purchased from a recent estate sale for $2.00 each. The black Sargent’s Equipment & Repair Service hat’s (4 in all) are new / never worn and still had the cardboard anti crush inserts inside them. Sargent’s has two locations, Chicago Heights, IL and Gilbert’s, IL.

Located in Alsip, IL., the round McAllister Equipment Co patch was originally on the red corduroy hat pictured here. The CAT patch was on a badly mangled, yellow screen mesh hat. The McAllister patch found its way onto a yellow sleeveless t shirt in 2017.

The original idea was to sew all three patches on three different polo shirts, but the Ozinga patch looked to be too big for a shirt. It’s 4 x 2.5 inches, so I sewed it back on the red courderoy hat.

The OZINGA patch was originally on a red cotton hat that had a foam lining in it that was disintegrating from age. I think the hat may have been meant to be worn under a hard hat?

OZINGA is a Cement Company throughout the Chicago suburbs.

I was going to throw out the red corduroy hat , but after a closer inspection it too looked like a never worn hat, just covered with some dirt and dust from sitting in a box. All six hats were a bit dusty and dirty from sitting around but after a good washing they came out great looking.

I hate the foam front, screen mesh hats because they tend to sit 2 inches above the top of your head and make you look like; "Big Head". It had my brand of motor oil (Castrol GTX) that I’ve been driving on for over 600,000 miles, so I bought it. I just don’t wear it.

The original Ozinga and Cat hats were thrown out.
