At top, we see eastbound I016 passing by the remains of XN siding in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio behind the charge of CSX's new B&O heritage unit. At bottom, we see counterpart I015 rolling west past the same location with standard CSX power. This spot is the best-lit area along the CSX New Castle Subdivision for night shots for those of us who don't own flash bulbs.

We were driving south last Monday evening, my father and I, with the sun setting on our right, and us driving ever deeper into Georgia. Our pickup truck and flatbed trailer looked more and more at home as we descended out of the traffic and suburbs, out into where the older Georgia has not been covered over — where towns have names like Luthersville, and farms spread across the spaces between the towns, and two-lane highways lace through the distance.
This yard was among a hundred scenes that the Cummins Diesel pulled past the passenger window, where out beyond the frantic beat of passing telephone poles were houses, fields, churches, barns, pastures, shops, and of course the frequent stands of pine. They passed at a steady sixty miles per hour except, of course, when we would hit a town, and slow down out of respect for the local populace and, perhaps, their sheriff.
This home was typical in having a separate outbuilding. They are usually used, I think, for tools and a lawn mower and perhaps a workbench. Or perhaps I am idealistic, and most of them are full of junk. The brown wood of this one looks far handsomer than the boxy corrugated sheds which brought an unfortunate flavor of mass production to other yards in the area.

56 312 passing Northolt Underground Station coming down the 'New' North Main Line. Single track now but the second line can still be seen in the undergrowth on the right.
An afternoon storm moves northward just off the shoreline at Arrawarra Beach on the NSW North Coast of Australia.
Here at the alternative point, uphill and downhill trains can pass each other.

Seen running about 6 minutes down past the newly built double decked car park, Black 5 44932 passes Fleet with a Cathedrals Express run from Victoria to Yeovil Junction.

The meaining - next lights will be the enter to a station. But here this pre-enter passing traffic lights is also used as an enter lights to the Kavgolovo platform)))
Head of this pre-enter passing traffic lights was made in Ukrainian SSR on the Dnepropetrovsk electrotechnical plant (ДЭЗ - Днепропетровский Электротехнический Завод), early named The Svetophor factory of Ministry of Railways ("Светофор" МПС) at 1960s (this track line was electrified to 1958 y). Others traffic lights on the line have the Svetophor trade mark. This model was developed on the base of the Type R-2 of the Union Switch&Signal co., US.
The white arrow block was recently refreshed to the modern technological level (from plastic:).
