DRS 57303 hauling GA DVT 82107 approach Cattawade Bridge past a Flooded area known affectionately by Essex Birdwatchers as the Splodge.A good Winter spot for Green Sandpiper and the occasional Water Pipit.Spring sees the first sighting of Little Ringed Plover (LRP)
Fast moving convective cell dropped only a trace of show but visibility briefly dropped to a few hundred feet. At top, you can see a few flakes lit by the bright emerging sun.

I have managed just a hint of motion blur in the train, first two attempts failed miserably in this respect, speed is, i find, not that easy to portray in the modern day rail scene...
The Plant, was the colloquial name given to the erstwhile Doncaster locomotive works,
where the yellow items of plant are parked on the extreme right, was the works rail entrance/exit, and back in the day loco's would be stood there waiting access or egress from the plant.

Just back from a week in Sutherland, This taken from Ben Stack as a squall passed in front of Arkle.
I am on Baffin Island leading a photo tour until mid-September, but I asked my people to post it while I am away in the Arctic. This is my beloved British Columbia (Coastal Mountains), just after a heavy rainfall. Beautiful light coming through the clouds is highlighting the area. If you look closer, you can still see droplets of rain on trees.
