A stitched panoramic of the very beautiful Moraine Lake

Back and trying to catch up !

Panoramic stitch over Rio de Janeiro from Dona Marta viewpoint after sunset. I was in a hurry to catch my flight that evening, so unfortunately didn't have time to shoot a panoramic series after it got darker.

London Eye with the old City Hall buildings in the background which used to house the Greater London Council before it was abolished in the 1980s.

Rondout Reservoir, NY. Taken on Thanksgiving as the weather was in transformation.

Our circuit around Loch Muick brings us to the Southern shores of the Loch with the cleft of Glas Allt splitting the lower reaches of Lochnager, my first ever Munro I conquered back in 2016. The day is remarkably calm with the mountains perfectly reflected in the still waters.

Our house in Scotland being sold, one week before we move away back to Dinnington, where I grew up and where my family still is, including the grandkids, we decided to take one last circuit around Loch Muick, the first place we explored when we moved up to Scotland 15 years ago. It's still as stunning as ever and I will certainly miss this kind of scenery.

Wellington Botanic Gardens

After photographing the previous image, I made my way down the many steps leading from the Herb Garden, to the Lady Norwood Rose Garden.. I sat at a bench in the shade, waiting for my daughter who was going to meet me here, so we could have a lunch and coffee at the Picnic Café. Whilst waiting for her, I shot this panoramic view of the Rose Garden.

Upon her arrival, we went to the café and enjoyed a light meal. When we were done, we decided to look around the Begonia House which is part of the café building. To my utter shock I discovered that my phone (used for taking these photos) was no longer in my bag or to be found anywhere... I felt helpless; I almost broke out into tears! Luckily my daughter remained calm and immediately rang my number (in case we left it somewhere in the café, close enough for us to hear it ring)... After a few rings, an unknown man answered the phone; my daughter identified herself and he then explained that his son found the phone lying on the bench (where I previously shot the panoramic, whilst waiting for my daughter)... The man and his family tried to contact me via Facebook as soon as they arrived back home, so, we ended up leaving the Gardens to collect the phone from them in a nearby suburb... I am so grateful towards this Good Samaritan and his family; how awful it would have been to lose my phone and all the info and photos stored on there...!

Afterwards we decided to go back to our motel, put up our feet and just take things easy! We however made a quick trip later that afternoon to Makara Beach to watch the sunset.

Panoramic Herceg Novi, Adriatic, Montenegro

Hove seafront begins at Hove Lawns and stretches right along to Hove Lagoon, near Portslade. There is a stunning walk along the seafront, especially just as the sun rises or sets, from the West Pier onwards.

Hove Lawns provides a green space right next to the sea for families, friends and all to enjoy.

Wide panoramic of Vancouver from Burnaby Mountain Park. This is one of my favorite vantage points of the city. The view on this night was clear enough that you could see the mountains on Vancouver Island in the distance.

A panoramic view of Glen Muick and Loch Muick in the Scottish Highlands. On a day like this it's just breath taking.

On the Panoramic Express train from Lucerne to Interlaken, a 1hr 50m train journey with picturesque views of mountains, lakes and towns - Switzerland.

Many thanks for your kind visit 🙏

Using my LG G4 Panorama shooting mode, at low light condition, it is not perfect but still acceptable outcome.

Panorama view over Napoli and the bank district with the Vesuvius int the back. What would we be without these monuments of economy? And what will happen when Vesuvius awakes?

This view was the original reason for me to visit Naples. It took me a nice walk to the town to find it finally.

A stitched panoramic of Hope Cove ,South Devon.

From Hope Cove we took the coastal path over to South Milton Sands only to get completely drenched in a very heavy hail shower!

That day was special.

So many things. And so many different things!

Let's start with the time before lunch.

Panoramic view of Yr Wyddfa and covered in snow, January.

Snowdon, or Yr Wyddfa, is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. It is located in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd.
