Dinner on the terrace
Display made for the french convention "Brick à Dole" 2017. The V2 with a new part "Starship Troopers" was presented to the french convention "Let\'s Go" 2018 in Schiltigheim.
This MOC is a collaborative diorama created with my friend Sweetsha & N3rik.
On this diorama we find the new theme Space Lego but also the Classic Space Lego.
It is intentionally ultra colored, it gives a side very fun :)
There are also many references to the great films of SF, pop culture and it\'s full of humor.
Obviously nothing will happen as planned, Space is going to shit. ^^
"the rustle of a wind blown leaf will throw them into a panic. They'll run here and there, back and forth, as if running for their lives even though no one is after them, tripping and falling over one another in total confusion."

On Saturday, I panicked a bit when I realized that my beloved M&Co. watch, which I've worn every day for the past eleven years, had slipped off my wrist and was gone forever. Michael's mention of the Swiss Railway Watch reminded me that I still had one, somewhere. Today I unearthed it. Yay. Needs a new battery and a new band.
The card in the background is the work of Martin Perrin (set in Tobias Frere-Jones's Interstate). I got it in the mail a few years ago; I stuck it up on one of my magnet boards to remind myself (a) that a little panic can be a good thing sometimes, and (b) to keep my head down.

May be you're asking yourself: "What the hell is Kernel panic"?
But may be you're feeling angry with me 'cause I remembered you a not so funny moment...
Kernel panic is to Linux what the blue screen of death is to Windows.
Well, you don't get [in] panic just for typing a mail...
Some Kernel panic messages in Apple computers :)
Not only the fantastic Linux has it. By fact even the blue screen of death can be considered a kind of kernel panic message.
"You panic button collector
You clock of beautiful ticks
You run out the door if you need to
You flock to the front row of your own class
You feather everything until you know you can always, always shake like a leaf on my family tree and know you belong here
You belong here and everything you feel is okay"

Don’t Panic… it’s only a towel :-)
Pip and I weren’t forced to have our annual bath just yet, we’re just celebrating an annual custom named Towel Day in the honour of Mr Douglas Adams. He was an author, proud towel wearer and mostly harmless :-)
His most famous work is of course “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” which is why we’re towelling around in space :-)
We hope you wear a towel too today!

I inherited sweaty palms and feet from Mom's Dad. I can't buy leather shoes, they don't breathe enough and stink in short order. Every so often I forget that fact though.
A couple of winters ago I put on my Vans and drove to meet a girl from the cafeteria at work for a date at a bar. I had the heater vent set to "floor." When I arrived I realized that I could smell my stinky shoes pretty strongly in the air wafting up.
I panicked.
I had no Febreeze in the car. I looked around and realized that the only thing I had that smelled good was a box of Downy fabric softener sheets that I had left in the cab last time I did laundry. So I grabbed four sheets and stuffed two in each shoe.
I'm not sure if it worked. I didn't get a second date.
