MADE POSITION #13 IN EXPLORE 11TH JANUARY 2012
Red Kite - Milvus milvus
Been very busy as of late so haven't been able to give updating the stream the time it deserves. This then is a shot taken way back in November, just going through the "mem card dump" folder on my desktop when I stumbled accross it. A bit warm (afternoon light), heavy crop and verging on the oversharpened ... but though it was worth posting. Thought it really shows the panic in the below bird as the other stoops in for a bit of harrassment !
Taken with my D300S and Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 wide open on the Black Mountain near home.
The good ship 'Don't Panic' watches on as a VTEC class 91 set thunders south with a London bound East Coast service.

Thank God for Apple Care. My MBP experienced a "kernal panic" as a result of a defective videoboard (or something like that) this weekend. They are taking it back for warranty work tomorrow. In the meantime, here's a shot that requires no processing. Met this dog and his owner while driving around Stanley Park in Vancouver last week. Since I didn't get his name, I'll call him "Colonel Panic" Straight out of the camera...
Have been better the past few days. Better as compared to the last week and especially Friday 3/8/19. I have not been "better" in years. But this afternoon, the panic attacks have returned. The presence of this person raises my anxiety level.
Also, I have been playing 3-0-3 for days and weeks now on the lottery. Sometimes i have multiple tickets for that same number. I changed my number today. And they played 3-0-3. One ticket was worth $330. I am sick.... (I feel God laughs at me every day. It is either one number off all the time from winning. Or I change my number and the next day they play it exactly. ) It's like a big slap in the face! "Take that! You deserve more pain and anguish. You don't need 'a little bit to help' just keep doing it all on your own.
I turn commenting off on these pictures. I don't mind people reading them. But it is really just a way for me to express my feelings so I don't go crazy. But I already am going crazy. I don't have anyone near me to talk to.
A don't panic cover for the envelope packs I finished early this year, just got distributed so they'll be all over soon, mines a bit battered, but then again so was I when I got it.....

Our panic room. When under attack by vampires we go to this room. Garlic keeps them at bay whilst wine soothes those under attack. We have a beer fridge there as well for the designated defender.
No, I didn't cut it. It's just tied in a knot and doubled over. This is how I wear it around the house :)

Display "Space Panic" East View
Display made for the french convention "Brick à Dole" 2017. The V2 with a new part "Starship Troopers" was presented to the french convention "Let\'s Go" 2018 in Schiltigheim.
This MOC is a collaborative diorama created with my friend Sweetsha & N3rik.
On this diorama we find the new theme Space Lego but also the Classic Space Lego.
It is intentionally ultra colored, it gives a side very fun :)
There are also many references to the great films of SF, pop culture and it\'s full of humor.
Obviously nothing will happen as planned, Space is going to shit. ^^
I love this shot. It's one of my favourites.
Basically, there I was, wide angle attached, attempting to get as close to the doves as possible, when the frickin' ship honks it's horn in the distance and they all fly at me in a complete panic. I actually hit the shutter by accident as I jumped a mile.
Needless to say my fiancé laughed at me, a lot!

I watched this pelican scoop up a fish that appeared to be too big for it to handle. It tried for several minutes to move it to a better position , then tried to swallow it. That didn't appear to be going well and I was afraid that I may have to give it the Heimlich maneuver. It continued to struggle and to its credit eventually won the "battle".
22 jars and one bottle of Manic Panic colors, five boxes of bleach, one set of lashes. I took this last year and forgot all about it over the holidays.
This is my first try at movie posters, I know there is already a film called panic room but i only found this out after i had thought of the name :/

So a while back the admin of the Manic Panic group asked me to take a pic of all my Manic Panic stuff and upload it to the group. Here's the thing: I have a lot of Manic Panic stuff. A lot. I've been dying my hair with it since 1992, so I'm not sure I could locate every single Manic Panic product I own.
Also, lately I'm incapable of just taking a straight forward photo. I have to mess with it. In the process I ended up with most of the items in this picture becoming unidentifiable.
I took other pictures though. On the veranda, in the light of the autumn rising sun. Oodles of naturally occurring sun rays and lens flare. See? Even without editing I still have to mess with a photo. I also pissed off all the birds who are used to eating breakfast at our place. They do not enjoy my camera. At all. Anyway, I'm going to sort through those photos and see If I can come up with something worth posting. In the meantime, here's what I dug out of my bathroom.
