Looking at the font for the title, I can't help but be reminded of the Don't Panic! from HGTTG.
What is that, you ask? Why, that is just the mountain I am climbing, of course!
Sheeesh! I must have been out of my fricking mind to take this on! What was I thinking???
The climb from Govindghat to Ghangria was tough, but it rose 1.3km (4,300 feet) over a distance of 14km (8.75 miles). The elevation from Ghangria to Hemkund was almost the same, but covered in a distance of 6km (3.75 miles), so the gradient is much, much steeper!
The reality of it hit me at a rest point halfway up the trail, where the horses are given a rest to drink water and regain their breath. That's when I had a chance to soak it in, and I seriously considered stopping right there and turning back!

2009 Challenge, Day 302: PANIC
By 1:00pm I didn't know what my photochallenge would be, not posted yet!!! Since it was sunny and beautiful I took a walk at my lunch time!! On my way back, was crossing the street to go to my office, when suddenly the panic siren of around hundred of police car made me jump!!! First reaction turn the camera on and start shooting Houry!!! When I saw the look of the driver and partner of the first car you see, got panicked!!! Make believe, nochalentely lowered my camera and on my way to the office and in the elevator panic attack!!! Specially when people in the elevator asked me "are you OK!!" OK? I was seeing myself in hand cuffs behind my back, my poor little me, but my flickr friends coming to my rescue and bailing me out, (Law & Order), LOL!!! Truly, I smiled loudly!! All, I got, from elevator peepz, raised eyebrows and rolling eyes!! O, well, let them find a better shot for my challenge!!!! ha!!
P.S. This street, on lunch hour or any hour, is packed bumper to bumper!!! Can you imagine the impact of those panic sirens!!!

This is one of those rare times an image came out exactly as I imagined, if not better. More inspiration taken from haunted creepy houses. Gonna be guilty and admit I didn't have a clear back story for this, I thought the idea would be visually interesting and fun to shoot. So I leave this one open to all of your interpretations.
