Quite why I still have a full carton of OMO washing powder/detergent in the house ...
This packet - with ½ lb (half a pound) FREE! - probably dates from the mid-1960s and the packaging represents the typical eye catching design used to ensure that housewives 'saw' the product on the shelf. I recall that many people had their favourite brand and were quite reluctant to change brand loyalty? Lever Brothers apparently registered OMO as a brand name in 1908 and it was one whose formulation must have altered over the years as detergent technology developed. It is no longer available as a UK brand but Unilever still produce it in overseas markets.
The side panel gives an indication of use.

The name Nervo comes from the word Nerve, Nerve Cells, Brain Activity, etc. Conceptually the idea for this side was to create a sense of magnification from right (cover) to left (inside page).
The cover was built with bolder iconic and almost artchitectural-like shapes. The middle is made up by more defined figurative elements.
The then enter the last page, which is a microscopic view of some of the elements. Whether that comes across or not, we're not sure, but it was the concept behind the construction of the image.
Illustrated using watercolor with watercolor pencils. Drawing was made for the line of Bakery Wagon fruit bars but this was a flavor that never made it to the market. CD packaging for the band “Splitting Adam”. The concept surrounds a fictitious character named Adam and his internal struggle with an audio triggered bipolar disorder. The cover splits Adam to reveal inside his head, a 3D animated hologram which morphs from a passive lamb into an aggressive ape. The cd and insert artwork documents Adam’s mental state along with vital stats and fi nal prognosis.
The photo of Adam was created using combination of all 5 band members photos. Each band member needed to be shot in rotation which was
used as the basis to create the smooth animated sequence. The packaging dieline was developed custom for this project and the hologram
manufactured in Russia.
