A packaging redesign of Jean Patou's Joy perfume(considered the most expensive commercial perfume you can buy).
For my redesign I wanted to gear the perfume to a younger crowd, so I thought more fashion editorial. I took one of the definitions of the word Joy (4. a state of happiness or felicity) and made is into a textile.
I then later put the textile one a box template I made.
These packages from Bambi Crony contain dolly boots! How pretty are they?!!! I have had nothing but great experiences with this company. They have been great to deal with.
So... I had a problem finding a good box to put my prints in, so I ended up making my own packaging. Inside is about 20 4x6's and the package is made with a Roundys bag and cardboard... Inkjet printer and tape. Lovely.
Done in asociation with an identity project in school (The Danish Design School).

Yay! My appointment cards and my clear bags coincidentally both arrived today! I assembled a few packages quickly to take a few photos.
I had received some good feedback from my rendezvous cards at the craft fair, but since I had glued rhinestones to each card, it wasn't cost effective. This was my solution.
Each package contains eight 2"x3.5" cards (solid colors on the backs) along with coordinating translucent sleeves.
Funny story.
An artist came to my classroom today to teach a music lesson to prepare the kids for a trip we are going on next week.
She wrote the sentence "The man was carrying a large package" on the board.
(If you really want to know why - the kids had to say the sentence using different emotions.)
Anyway, someone who knows me intimately came in the room, saw me standing next to this after the artist had gone, and burst out laughing and said
"How did she know?"
(None of the kids heard this.)

i came up with this packaging design the day before i sent out my very first etsy order. again, minimal and clean. i love it! the box was made from a white cardstock. i didn't take a pic of the inside but i wrapped the merchandise with black tissue, very neatly of course, and sealed it with a white, dot sticker stamped with that same flower on the tag.

Debating whether to add it into my etsy/folksy images on every item.
I made some packaging for some recent sales and wanted to show y’all. Hand drawn depictions of the contents inside. :0) These were custom orders.
I love pretty packaging for my wedding invites and stationery!
These sets of thank you notes that I mailed out to my customers are wrapped first in bubble wrap, then in an old calendar, wrapped with washi tape. Then I printed out the label on a 3"x5" index card, taped it on with clear tape, and used an assortment of stamps to make up the postage. Fun!
