Despite appearances still open at this stage. Either 1993 or early 1994 given that the OWW was closed north of here at this stage.

DMU 'bubble' car 55033 in Midline West Midlands livery is stabled by the gantry at Worcester Shrub Hill in the afternoon of the 4th October 1989 waiting its next trip to Barnt Green I would guess! Behind the gantry is the remains of the OWW shed building which was completely demolished over the weekend of 2nd December 1989. I believe the Midline livery was not applied to many units and any information about that livery gratefully received.

Abellio London (2528, YX15 OWW, Hayes/North Hyde Gardens (WS)-based) at Hayes & Harlington Station, Station Road, Hayes (Middlesex), London. Body no E438/6, delivered new 20/03/2015. Apologies for the mark on the left hand side of the photo, caused by a clump of dust that got into one of the filters in my camera lens.
OWW 435E is a Plaxton Panorama I bodied Bedford VAM14, acquired second hand from Mosley of Barugh Green near Barnsley. It was evidently working on hire to Roeville Tours of Stainforth (later to become part of the Wilfreda group) when photographed at Bridlington.

Just an average day another boring school day but today was going to be great today is the day Joe goes on his field trip to the nuclear plant Joe was just sat in class alone with his thoughts his mind filled with nothingness except for one certain girl which he had a crush on while day dreaming he got hit on the head with a book "OWW" "(Jimmy) haha should of ducked doofus" that's Jimmy the biggest jerk around (if i could say something i would but Jimmy is much bigger then i am and i wouldn't want to get him in a rage like some big ape in a zoo) the girl sitting in front of Joe turned to Joe "(Wendy) Jimmy you big bully you could seriously hurt someone doing something like that" "(Jimmy) well he should be more quick instead of being a doof" (that's Wendy she's the most prettiest and smartest girl in class i've got such a big crush on her why do i have to be such a looser i wish i could impress her she had to defend me how does that make me look" the teacher walked into the classroom and spoke about the field trip "(Miss Jackie) ok kids i want you all to be on you're best behaviour we are going to the nuclear plant just stick close to me and be careful and learn" the teacher said she rounded up the kids together and took them to the bus Joe got on to the bus and looked for a free seat Wendy waved over at Joe (oh no is she waving at me what should i do what should i do...it's more polite to sit by her but what if she speaks to me i could just die" Joe walked down the bus's seats Jimmy decided to play a trick so he pulled his leg out which caused Joe to trip "(Jimmy) HAVE A NICE TRIP haha" everyone laughed at Joe everyone except Wendy Joe got up on his feet he never felt so embarrassed in his life he got to Wendy and sat next to her everyone was seated and the bus made off while the journey everyone spoke to the ones next to them except Joe (what do i say what do i say i can't believe this i've never sat next to Wendy before...her hair smells so nice i better say something or she's going to think im some sort of freak) as Joe opened his mouth to speak so did Wendy "heh sorry" "(Wendy) sorry...i can't believe what Jimmy did..he's such a jerk" "i know but it doesn't bother me" as the journey continued Joe and Wendy continued chatting the bus finally arrived to the nuclear plant Miss Jackie escorted the class out of the bus and into the Nuclear plant everyone walked along behind her as she lectured the class about the physics "(Miss Jackie) As is typical in all conventional thermal power stations the heat is used to generate steam which drives a steam turbine connected to an electric generator which produces electricity" as she droned on and on until they were met with a nuclear worker "mr Sanders" ok kids im mr Sanders and as you may have known we are in a nuclear power plant it's a good place yes but this one is different this is where special experiments take place now if you'd gladly follow me into this room i will lead the tour" and so he did everyone walked on through a corridor where they all saw scientists wearing big lap coats and working hard on new experiments "(Mr Sanders) ok kids the new thing we are working on is something special now im afraid i can't share any info with you because it's top secret but if the experiment is successful we'd be glad to show you a demo in the near future...ok right through this door is where the top secret experiment is kept now i do advise you keep away from this door as it holds high chemicals nuclear waste and other lethal materials now i know i shouldn't but if we go to the walk way we can see just below us the biggest compound chemical used in the top secret experiment just make sure you hold on to the banister but don't worry we will be safe" so all the kids Miss Jackie and Mr Sanders walked on the walk way and just below them were big barrels of chemicals "heh umm Mr Sanders is it safe up here?" "(Mr Sanders) yes it is safe i assure you nothing bad will happen" Jimmy gave Joe a big nudge "(Jimmy) scared baby?" "no im not scared im just making sure" before Joe could get a word in edge wise Jimmy nudged him again "STOP IT" "(Jimmy) shut up baby" Jimmy gave Joe a punch on his chest which caused him to fall over the railing "AHH" "(Wendy) oh my god Joe" "(Miss Jackie) someone grab him" Mr Sanders grabbed Joe's arm and tried to pull him up just below him were the barrels of chemicals Joe never felt this scared before Mr Sanders tried to pull him up but it was no use Mr Sanders lost his grip and Joe began to fall "AHHHHHH" as he fell he wished about all the things in life that he could of done he wished he told Wendy his feelings he wished he could of stand up to Jimmy he wished he could tell his mother and father how much they mean to him but it was too late Joe landed with a crash on a barrel then he hit the ground with force Joe opened his eyes he was alive he sat up and looked around "heh...HAHA im alive i don't believe it im alive IM ALIVE" before Joe could get up a barrel that caught Joe as he fell came down on Joe and landed on top of him causing a crack on the side which leaked out a purple chemical the force of the falling barrel knocked Joe out after being knocked out Joe finally awoke he was floating everywhere around him was white it looked like a white room but he was floating he couldn't move he was just floating in one place (what's happening am i dead is this a dream or a message strange pictures formed around Joe a picture of Wendy (..Wendy ahh...Wendy) "(Wendy) Jimmy you jerk...i am so excited for this field trip...Joe i like you but i wish you'd stand up for you're self" "(Jimmy) Joe you doofus stop thinking and do something...Joe i'd pick on you less if you stood up to me...doofus" (how could i be dead i survived the fall is this how it ends" "(Dad) listen Joe my dad gave me this watch on my birthday so now im handing it down to you for you're birthday" "thanks Dad" "(Mom) Joe Joe JOE wake up or this cute little guy will" "mom you got me a dog?" "(Mom) yeah isn't she cute she's a shelter dog the poor thing was all sad so i decided to adopt her why don't you name her" "ok i will name her Jewl" "(Mom) such a pretty name don't you think Jewl" "(Jewl) WOOF WOOF" suddenly Joe saw a bright light up ahead he tried to get to the bright light but he couldn't get even close enough things got brighter and brighter until suddenly he awoke again this time with a scream he awoke in another white room this time on a bed with many scientists around him "AHHH AHHH" the scientists tried to restrain him his face was covered in burn marks showing the inside of his skin he had a big red patch on his face "(Scientist1) keep him down restrain him he's in shock" "(Scientist2) give him more morphine clean his wounds i don't want him or anyone else getting close to this kind of chemical" Joe fell back into a deep sleep "(Dr Kelp) im sorry Ms Barn Joe has sustain a lot of burns which caused a lot of nerve damage to both his optic nerve and Cornea but his sight should slowly come back he's woken but we had to put him back to sleep there is still some burns he should see to his throat for one is severely burned but i need you to understand how much trauma he'll go through with these kind of injuries but we will do all we can to make sure he recovers so you needn't worry" "(Mom) don't worry you say im sorry but im a mother all i can do is worry i don't want my son blind or to suffer which his throat" "(Dr Kelp) i understand and i feel you're sorrow we will make sure he gets to a hundred percent please understand that these people working on him arnt just any doctors they worked along with the chemicals they know how to work around it so you needn't worry" the scientists worked on Joe for hours Joe finally awoke to a familiar room it was his room he looked around and noticed his mom sat on his bed looking at him in awe "(Mom) Joe...Joe you're awake" "m.mom hey" "(Mom) aw sweetie are you ok?" "ahh kinda...what happened?" "(Mom) you were in an accident...can you see me?" "h.heh yeah i can see you i can see you just fine...why?" "(Mom) it's not important sweetie im just glad you're fine...are you hurting?" "h..heh no im not...what happened i remember waking up in a big white room with people doing stuff to me then i fell back to sleep" "(Mom) those were doctors they tried to help you" "hm...uh ok i couldn't tell my eyes...they sting" Joe said with an itchy throat "(Mom) im glad you're ok" Joe slowly sat up "(Mom) take it easy the reason is that some of the chemicals at the nuclear plant fell and leaked all over you it burned you badly..." she began to cry "mom it's ok don't worry im fine" "(Mom) you're my special little guy i couldn't stand if anything happened to you i just couldn't you're my whole world" "aw...i know mom...i know i never say it that much but i just want you to know that i love you mom and i love Dad" "(Mom) aw sweetie you're father was in tears when i told him what had happened to you he wanted to catch the next plane and come home" "aw poor Dad you need to tell him not to worry and that im fine i don't want him to be thinking of me while in New York he should be doing his job" "(Mom) i know sweetie but you can't help thinking of you're child that's hurt it's the life of a parent and you one day will come across it yourself god forbid" "yeah but i want to be like you and be the darnest great parent i can be for my child" "(Mom) aww sweety" Joe's mom grabbed Joe and hugged him firmly "(Mom) ok sweetie i should let you rest just take it easy ok" "yeah mom...thanks" Joe's mom walked out the room as the door was half way open Jewl decided to make his way in she jumped onto Joe's bed in excitement and started licking Joe on his face "heh heh hey Jewl hey girl...i know it's im fine" something hit Joe's mind his mind turned grey for a moment it was like getting hit by a book from Jimmy in class "wow...that was weird" Jewl calmed herself down and plopped her head down on the bed along with her whole body good thing Jewl was a jack Russell any bigger she'd take up the whole bed grey dark thoughts flew through Joe's mind they were weird his body even felt weird it was like his bones had become weaker Joe just sat there zombified like his whole body was slowly fading on him and failing he feld unconscious but at the same time unable he could still see clearly what was in front of him even his vision started to play tricks on him he shook his head looking down at Jewl but he shrugged it off and fussed Jewl some more "that's a good girl Jewl that's a good girl" Jewl moved close to Joe and began licking him on his cheek she stopped at started panting she was panting right in front of Joe that's when things with his eyes happened again Joe's eyes went weird dark and grey again he could hear panting coming from Jewl then his eyes twitched he could see himself zoomed close to Jewl her tongue appeared close looking giant to him it like he was in Jewls mouth on her giant tongue he could hear loud noises which sounded like panting noises coming from Jewl they were loud echoey pants it felt like Joe was inside Jewls mouth as she had her tounge sticking out panting out loud Joe shook his head until things were back to normal only to see Jewl sat in Joe's lap with her tongue sticking out giving out panting noises "woh...that was weird" Jewl moved away from Joe and lied herself down she was relaxed Joe just sat in silence until something else strange happened Joe felt pain on all his limbs and his rib cage then his eyes went weird again Joe closed his eyes for a second then reopened them only to see things in a different perspective things didn't look the same but at the same time they did he was in the same place but things were more larger then what they seemed Joe climbed up his blanket and slid down to get a clear view he then realized that things were a lot different but he somewhat knew this wasn't a dream it was all too real (i don't believe this...have i shrunk but how this is impossible" as Joe was deep in thought he could hear loud rustling and heavy noises from a distance Joe looked up ahead only to see a massive dog lied on his bed it was no other than Jewl Joe ran across the giant plains of his blanket (Jewl doesn't look that big maybe she could help me) Joe thought to himself as he was nearing her he reached her and stopped giving a look with awe and a terrifying glance with his eyes bulged wide open seeing nothing but a giant black thing in front of him he looked up then looked left and right on the giant black thing their was a giant cave like hole one below and another above it then crossed Joe's mind (i don't believe it i can't believe how big she is no way this is her nose no way am i that small?) Joe thought to himself looking high up Joe had no choice now he couldn't think of an easy way around until he looked to the left so he ran to the left only to see a big black thing with some hair and a few whiskers Joe thought that this would be a more easy route to take so Joe slowly walked over to the other black thing something strange began to happen the black thing started to move it split open wide until Joe was met with a giant set of teeth and a huge tongue sticking out Joe gave a scream and ran off it was none other than Jewl giving out a cute yawn but it looked more terrifying at Joe's point of view so he got to the nose where it was safe he looked for a place to start his climb he finally found the perfect place to start the last thing he wanted was to end up in Jewls nose because that'd be kind of gross for him so he climbed the side away from the giant nostril as he was climbing he hoped for a miracle or something to help him on his way as he reached the top he got up on his feet (how weird it looked like a long climb from down their so how did i make it up so quick" Joe thought until he could feel gusts of warm air coming from behind him he slowly turned only to see plain blackness just nothingness ahead "aw...aw no im in her nose aw this is gross not her nose i...i need to get out of here before she decides to sniff me deep inside" Joe looked to his left only to see a small slope so he ran to the slope and began to climb again he climbed and climbed until he finily made it to the top as he got up he ran across Jewls snout shouting her name and waving his arms hoping she'd see him he shouted and waved until finally Jewl opened one eye only to see a tiny person on her snout shouting and arms waving she raised her head up which caused Joe to fall on the bed lucky it was the bed with a soft landing Joe sat up from the fall "gaaah ah wow lucky i landed on something soft" he said as he looked up once again only to see Jewl glancing down at him "heh...HEY JEWL DOWN HERE GIRL DOWN HERE" Jewl looked at Joe with excitement she started wagging her tail all could be heard was thump thump thump Jewl lowered her head down to Joe she moved her nose closer to him Joe couldn't do anything he was just sat there powerless to Jewls giant size all he could see is Jewls giant nose covering him all there was is blackness and loud sniffing sounds but the sniffing stopped Jewl raised her nose away from Joe he looked up at her and smiled "heh...hey Jewl it's me" Jewl once again began wagging her tail "that's a good girl" Jewl gave Joe a look she stuck her tongue out in excitement Joe knew that look and he could tell how excited she was "ok Jewl ok i know you're excited but i want you to help me ok...can you get mom...get mom Jewl ok get mom" Jewl lied there tongue sticking out by the side of her mouth she tilted her head in confusion and she ignored Joe's request as she moved her head over to Joe with her tongue straight out towards him Joe opened his eyes wide in horror as he saw the colossal tongue coming towards him before Joe could react he was hit by the colossal tongue unable to move pinned down to the ground getting licked by the giant slobbered up tongue she then raised her head tongue at the end of her mouth panting with Joe stuck to it from the saliva for a small dog she sure did have a lot of drool it was just like a great Dane of a Saint Bernard thank god they didn't own a dog at that size or it would be just like an ocean to him while stuck Joe shouted "GET MOM PLEASE JEWL GET ME OUT OF HERE PLEASE!!!" Jewl moved her tongue back into her mouth things were alot darker to Joe now "NO JEWL DON'T YOU DARE CLOSE YOU'RE MOUTH NO...NOOO" but it was too late Jewl closed her mouth but she didn't swallow him she got up and jumped down onto the floor and ran out of the room straight down the stairs and over to mom which was sat on the couch alone with her thoughts just like Joe Jewl jumped up onto the couch and nudged mom on the chest "(mom) h.hey Jewl...i know i'll be fine" Jewl gave a small bark with her mouth just half open the bark hurt Joe's ears mom started petting Jewl and talking to her "(Mom) i know i just hope Joe's fine" Jewl opend her mouth and stuck her tounge out at Mom she looked at Jewl with a smile "(Mom) we both love Joe very much yes we do" Joe could hear moms voice so he called out "MOOM MOOM" she could just about hear his tiny voice "(Mom) aww now im hearing things" Jewl gave a bark while sticking her tongue out again "MOOM LOOK PLEASE LOOK IM ON JEWLS TOUNGE LOOK HERE" Mom could hear the voice again she looked at Jewl and then noticed something small moving on her tongue "(Mom)...wait...Joe? can i hear you?" "YES MOM ON JEWLS TONGUE" Jewl gave another bark at Mom she then realized she looked closer at Jewl and noticed something small on Jewls tongue "(Mom) oh my god...Joe it's you...that's you isn't it?" "YESS IT'S ME HELP ME" "(Mom) oh my god...o.ok Jewl good dog can you give Joe to mommy please" Jewl gave a bark and moved closer to Mom she moved her hand into Jewl's mouth and peeled Joe off her tongue and she got a closer look at him on her hand "(Mom)...Joe it's you isn't it please tell me it's you" "MOOM IT'S ME I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPEND BUT I ENDED UP AT THIS SIZE" "(Mom) i don't believe it this is massive...ooh and Jewl helped you good girl Jewl good girl" (so that was my life i was taken by some scientists for the problem to me resolved but nothing could be done so i now had to live my life at this size it was somewhat of a problem i couldn't be my self or just act like a normal person i couldn't see Wendy again i couldn't go back to school i couldn't do anything but it is good to be alive i should be lucky the only ones i need in my life is my mom dad and Jewl family is what's important to me i thought my life would end at most of the time falling from a great height and Surviving the fall then having a big barrel of waste fall on me which leaked out burning my whole body then waking up only to find myself in the arms of my mother but then i realized this is where i was meant to be it was my place life gets me down but my family brings me back up high and life shoots out of me because of that thanks to Jewl i was able to get the attention of my mom she's such a clever dog i will never leave her side she's my whole world my name is Joe Barn im a tiny i was close to death twice and now i am loving life...

Kingswinford Junction was just before the bridge in the distance. This was the point where the Wombourne line diverted off the OWW main line and made its more rural path to Wolverhampton, joining the Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury line at Oxley.
