West Riding 762 was painted in traditional West Riding livery in 1979 to commemorate the company's 75th anniversary. It is a Bristol VRT/SL3/6LX with Eastern Coach Works bodywork, new in 1976.

In later years it moved to United (no. 566) before returning to West Yorkshire with Taylor, Morley (no. 4).

Fleet number 1081 was captured at the Silverknowes terminus in north west Edinburgh, where the long vehicle was waiting to operate route 16 to Torphin. Beyond the bus, Silverknowes Golf Course slopes down to Marine Drive and the Firth of Forth.

"C'mon webshooters, don't fail me now!!" I say nervously as I keep trying to get them to work.

I'm finally able to get it to work, right as I'm about to crash into a dumpster. It saves me from splatting on the pavement, but it didn't save me from slamming right into the dumpster. Oww! As I pick myself up, I hear my ringtone. Pulling out my phone, it's Aunt May.

"Peter, where are you?" She asks right as I place my ear to the phone.. I can only assume she's worried about me once more.. Even though she doesn't need to worry so much.

I pull up my mask so my voice isn't as muffled.

"Hi Aunt May. Oh I just decided to go out for an evening stroll. Needed a breather from studying. Don't worry, I'm on my way home now." I reply with this calmness in my voice.

"Okay.. Well be careful.. Love you Peter."

"Love you too Aunt May. Have a good night!" I hang up and start making my way home. Do all black cats give bad luck or something? Ah, who am I kidding.. That's just a silly myth. Anyway, she's probably long gone, after this whole blunder. Thankfully, traffic is pretty quiet right now, so it doesn't take me too long to get home. The lights are off, as I climb up and into my room. I take off my costume and put it in the back of my closet. Turning off the computer I had left on, I go and have a quick shower before going to bed.

--------------------

I wake up to the smell of pancakes, and I wipe my eyes as I'm getting dressed for the day ahead. Once dressed, I go downstairs and sit down at the kitchen table. Once the pancakes are ready, Aunt May brings them over, and I dive in. She sits down across from me and starts to speak.

"So Peter, are you busy tonight?"

"No plans that I can think of.. Why?"

"Well, the Hardy Foundation is throwing a fundraising event tonight, and I figured it would be nice if we both went. Lydia Hardy is a good friend of mine, and I haven't seen her in a while."

"Sounds nice.. But why do I need to come?" I ask curiously, trying to figure out her ulterior motive.

"Oh that's obvious! You need to get out more!! You're always stuck in your books, which is great! But you need to enjoy your youth while you can as well! Besides, you'll get to see Felicia all dressed up and looking absolutely beautiful. If you won't go for yourself, go for me.. Please?" And there it is.. The true reason she wants me to go.. Part of what she's saying is true though, I do need to get out more. Guess I won't be doing any heroics for today..

"Okay, okay.. Still can't believe you're trying to set me up with Felicia though." I reply, as I finish my last pancake.

"You should get going Peter! Otherwise you'll be late." She says, as she's looking at the clock.

"Alright, well have a good day!" Giving her a hug, I grab my backpack, and quickly get my shoes on, before dashing out the door. The bus appears and stops at the bus stop. Once there, I notice Henry Jackson getting in, and in a single file format, I follow behind him. One of Flash Thompson's friends that's actually somewhat nice to me. At least, when he's not around Flash. He lives right across the street from me, so we would sometimes hang out when we were younger. Along with Eugene before he got all 'high and mighty' and became the Flash I know him as today. The bus ride is noisy like usual, with everyone chatting and gossiping. It doesn't take long before we reach Midtown High, and I step onto the school grounds. First stop is my locker.. I place my bag into my locker in an organized fashion, as I take out my gym bag.

"P.E first period.. What a way to start the day.." I mutter, as I let out a yawn.

I get changed, and wait around in the gymnasium, as the rest of the class fills the room.

"Hey Pete!"

"Oh hey Harry.." I say surprised.. Totally didn't see him come in.. Weird..

"So word is that we're getting another new transfer student today. Two in the span of two days.. Like how crazy is that?"

"Guess it's that time of year.." I reply with little enthusiasm.

"Alright, quiet down class.. Now we have a new student joining our class today.. And please, be nice.. It's her first day. I'll let her introduce herself now, so that we can get to the fun stuff!" Coach Finstock says with eagerness.

A girl walks up to the front, and I get this odd sense of déjà vu.. It feels like I've seen her before..

"Hi everyone.. My name's Cheyenne, and it's nice to meet you all. Let's have a good year together, ok? Alright!" With that, she sits down as everyone applauds.

Wait a minute.. The lightbulb finally goes off, and I realize who it is. It's that girl from last night. The other thief there that wasn't Black Cat.. What is she doing here?

At times recently the Parker Street portion of Piccadilly Bus Station seems to have had its own tidal flow, such has been the excess water built up after successive rainfall episodes and which, due to poor drainage, has just not cleared in the interim.

With mist covering Arthur’s Seat and the Salisbury Crags in the far distance, fleet number 1081 was captured northbound on Newhaven Road working route 11 from Hyvots Bank to Ocean Terminal. The tri-axle bus has just crossed the ex-NBR North Leith branch - now a popular footpath and cycleway - at the former Bonnington station (closed 1947). Before November 1920, when Edinburgh absorbed the Burgh of Leith, the boundary ran down the middle of the street here. The tenements on the right were in Edinburgh while the other side of the street (not visible) was in Leith. Today’s bus route 11 largely follows the route of Edinburgh Corporation’s tram route 11 introduced in 1922 when the city was switching from cable to electric traction. Leith had had electric trams since 1905 so until 1920 it was Leith Corporation Tramways which served Pilrig Street and its northward continuation, Newhaven Road, passengers from the city centre then having to switch trams (the “Pilrig Muddle”) on Leith Walk. Today’s bus service 11 - though now extended beyond both termini of the tram route - replaced the 11 tram on 12 September 1956.

The title is not a description of the subject, but the colloquial name given to the railway company that built the line at this location, the Oxford Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway was soon absorbed into the mighty Great Western Railway, but its origins live-on in the administrative reference given to this bridge situated at Lower Moor, between Pershore and Evesham. The problems of uneven lighting on sunny days in winter may be seen in this image, this shot was my favourite at this location on this visit.

As much as I love my outtake tonight, I really wanted an emotive pose that would really convey how I'm feeling.

Which is a big fucking ow ow oww.

I have a pretty high pain tolerance. When I was 17 I had a spinal tap - supposedly it's one of the most painful medical procedures you can have - they stick a very long needle directly into the base of your spine. I was so stoic during the procedure that nurses and doctors were coming to meet me all week.

Brendan used to get confused....I'd have a headache for hours on end, and it would never occur to me to take any pain killers.

When I had my first appointment with my chiropractor after the fall, he had to tell me how much it hurt. I would give him answers like "it's kind of sore" and he would palpate the muscle or bone and go "um, I'm going to rank your pain here a 9."

The other day, Kristin texted me something about tylenol, and I had a sudden, outright fantasy about tylenol. Until that moment, I hadn't recognized that I was feeling pain.

All of that to say, it's oddly gratifying to be working with a doctor who will recognize and address pain that I'm so accustomed to accommodating that I've forgotten it's there. The flip side of that attention though, is that I'm actually focusing on the way that my body is feeling.

And it sucks to be aware.

I could hardly make it through the work day today, my back was hurting so badly. As I understand it, after this fall, one of my legs is seemingly shorter than the other, causing me to do weird walking where I roll my foot onto the nerve. I have some major nerve damage in my left shoulder, which leads to this weird muscle exhaustion that makes me feel like my arm is out of the socket. My hips are misaligned. My one shoulder is way high, and my neck is literally a solid object on the left. It's an active effort to keep my head aligned over my shoulders. I'm going to be in physical therapy twice a week for quite a while.

I'm lucky I didn't break my neck. It really was an eye opener. And I'm lucky to be in a position to receive treatment. And I'm lucky to have a doctor who understands my body better than I do. But in some ways, addressing the problem seems to be making it bigger.

A seemingly less than confident driver at the helm of this Berresford's motor prepared to leave Cheddleton garage in the direction of the village and Leek. Leyland Leopard OWW 734K had Plaxton Panorama Elite bodywork but had been updated with a much later Supreme IV GT lower front panel arrangement. It was a modification which I always thought sat well with this type of body in a way in which it didn't particularly seem to do with similarly treated later Supreme IIIs.

OWW 734K had been new to Woods of Mirfield in West Yorkshire and was one of the last 'coaches' acquired by the Cheddleton based firm prior to Jim Berresfords death and subsequent closure. If memory serves me correctly, it came via Barnsley breaker Geoff Ripley, had a blown engine and was missing various parts and therefore requiring quite a degree of resuscitation.

Other buses getting in on the shot here are :- almost off the left hand side - one of the pair of ex Birkenhead Northern Counties Atlanteans, next the ex British Airways PSU4 Leopard WUL 264N, the 'Q' Regd. Bedford YRQ / Willowbrook and the ex Trent ECW bodied Bristol RE coach PCH 418L.

The 2025 Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT25) took place between Friday 18th and Sunday 20th July at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. Many coaches and shuttle buses were involved in transporting spectators and crews to the event, one of these was YN14 OWW, a Scania N230UD/Alexander-Dennis Enviro400 bus in the fleet of Cheltenham & Gloucester. It had first seen operation with Western Buses as 15979 in July 2014, transferring to Cheltenham District the following month. It became a Cheltenham & Gloucester vehicle when operating licenced were amalgamated in October 2014. It carries all over branding for the University of Gloucestershire.

Despite the Worldmaster badge, Wood's 34 is a Leyland Leopard PSU3B/4R with Plaxton Elite Express II coachwork, new in 1972. It would later pass to Berresford, Cheddleton.

Woods did indeed own a Worldmaster, former Glasgow FYS 689 which, after several years use on the stage service, was

rebodied with Plaxton Panorama Elite II coachwork in 1972.

I: Hello Rue! How are you today?

R: I have been feeling amazing, I am on a diet and running everyday to have

the perfect model body!

I: Amazing! So, last week in 13smexiichick's DNTM C.2, you were crowned DNTM. How does it feel to win?

R: Incredible, it was just a surreal moment right there. My jaw dropped and I was just in awe!

I: How has the journey been?

R: It was the most memorable experiance I have been in. Auburn and I have worked so hard to the top and it all paied off!

I: Auburn and Rue, this question is for both. Who did you think was going to be in the top 2?

A: I honestly thought that Casey and Annaleise would. They impressed the judges every week!

R: I knew that Arianna would. She is an amazing model that deserves to be in the top 2!

I: Interesting! Is there any drama in the house?

R: Well, there has been a few small fights but in all, everything was smooth. I don't like drama so I am happy there was not any.

I: Okay, this question is for Auburn. In your last confessional before you left, you said you were on the very edge of quitting. Why?

A: I honestly was not in the game. Every week I kept on not improving. It was the winter, my hair got really fizzy and it was just all a HUGE mess in my opinion. I was really close in quiting unitl I told everything to Rue. She made a promise to me that she will win for me. I am SO proud she kept her promise. I love her so much! <3

I: Aww! Auburn, will you ever model again? We don't see you anymore!!

A: I am not now. But I am getting a hair cut short so I can still be in bntms! :)

I: Awesome news! Goodluck. And congratulations to Rue! Is there any advice to girls or guys out there wanting to win a DNTM or BNTM?

R: I just have to say that believing in your self will help. Make sure you are happy with your shot so it will lead you to sucess. Even if you don't have fans, you still have you. Show who you are and shine like a star. Because everyone in this world can fufil their dreams only if they believe :)

I: Beautiful! Thank you so much Auburn and Rue for coming! Goodluck in the future!

A: Thank you! (Turns head)

R: Thank you too! (Turns head)

(Bangs heads)

A: Oww. RUE!!

R: (Rolls on the floor laughing) Hhahhahhhahah!

I would like to say thank you for all the Rue fans. It means so much for your guys support and kindness towards Rue :) Thank you!
