The third generation Audi 100, launched in September 1982, had an aerodynamic look, achieving a drag coefficient of 0.30 for its smoothest base model, resulting in improved fuel economy. Audi innovated flush windows on the C3, a key area for aerodynamic drag that has been widely adopted by other manufacturers. The aerodynamic body gave the 100 higher top speed than other cars of similar engine size. The two-door models were no longer available, and the Audi 100 Avant was now positioned as a station wagon rather than a hatchback - the Avant designation would now be used for all Audi station wagons. The Avant was introduced with available extra folding third row seat — not available in conjunction with ABS-brakes as the brake control unit sat in the same space
The 200, launched in 1983 continued as the upmarket variant with several versions of the 2.2 L turbo 5-cylinder available in different markets over its life with differing outputs.
In January 1988 the Audi 100 received a subtle facelift, most obvious being the change to flush fitting doorhandles. The 1991 200 20V featured flared (vs. flat) front and rounded rear wheel arches to accommodate wider wheel and tire combinations to be fitted to 20V models.

Back to Priestfield we go, and herald this feast for your eyes ...
D213 " Andania " + D235 " Apapa " - a 1965 photo, of which I don't have Michael Mensings more detailed notes. I have been doing a bit of delving on those workings that had a pair up front. A common denominator that I have discovered is that P71 BNS / BSH - Blackpool - see the Ocker Hill photo - generally seems to have a pair on. It is nothing to do with the loadings, as I will show in the days ahead. It now seems clear that said working was booked for a pair. clearly suggesting a balancing working....
Again note the route to the right, the ex OWW over which D1000 & D1004 worked the 2H65 driver training programme in May & June,1962....
Priestfield is the first tram stop out of Wolverhampton to use the ex GWR track bed featured here. Imagine this pair of monsters whistling up the A41 !!!

I've been super self conscious these past three days, and especially today. I think I'm kind of struggling, maybe on the inside. I can't really explain in words why, perfect time for a picture I guess. Even though no ones judged me I think I'm just super frustrated with my body right now. I'm short and feel super disproportionate. Like not just height wise either, and eczema adds self consciousness on top of that, sorry I'm complaining so much. And yes I had a bang fail this morning when i was trimming them, now they're too short for my own liking. Sorry it's kind of grainy. :\
This happens often in our house. Mozzy may look like he's got the upper paw, but his claws have been clipped while Pixie's are sharp. Me-oww!
Excitement builds as Statesman Rails `Exmoor Coast Statesman' comes off the Stourbridge Extension to join the OWW at Stourbridge North Junction. The excursion was running from Crewe to Minehead with WCR Class 57 Locomotives TnT. 57601 was at the front with 57316 at the rear.
Abellio London route E9: Ealing Broadway Station - Yeading, Barnhill Estate
Ealing Broadway Station (E)
Previously operated by Metroline, route E9 was one of three E-routes to move to Hayes (WS) under contract to Abellio. E400s 9456-9464, made surplus from the departures of routes 35 and 40 to Go-Ahead, introduced the E9 to Abellio.
E400H and E40H MMC workings from routes E1 and 350 have since ventured out onto the route.

Yes, after half a year hearing the grumbeling of a certain person I finally finished my first diesel! to push away broken down steam trains ;-)
the model is based on the NS 2233 from the 2200 series build after the second world war to replace the last dutch steam locomotives for the freight services in the 50's
The design was based on diesellocomotives designed by Baldwin locomotive works with electrical equipment from westinghouse. The locomotives where build By Allan and Hemaf here in The Nethelands.
My model is build in 1:45 scale, is powered by 2 trainmotors, PF receiver and a battery box. the plan is to build a second one before Schkeuditz in the NS grey yellow livery so they can drive in doubletraction.
The Fairmilehead area, extending along Frogston Road to Mortonhall crematorium, is a beautiful corridor for photographers and there are many fine opportunities to get some great shots.
We're opposite the former site of the Princes Margaret Rose Hospital, which was swept away years ago and replaced by this modern housing development. This is also where the Marie Curie Hospice for cancer patients is and passing we see new Volvo B8L / Enviro 400XLB 100 seater tri-axile number 1081 (SJ19 OWW) in all its glory at the fantastic 13.4 metres length.

With most of the crew checking progress, Cardiff Canton's British Rail Brush Type 4, Class 47 No. 47 186 drifts in to the platform at Evesham Station with 6C57, an empty return working from Didcot power station to Bescot Yard.
This train was occasionally diverted via the Oxford, Worcester, Wolverhampton (OWW) Line on a Summer Saturday away from its normal route through Banbury and Leamington Spa for driver route knowledge.

uploaded for no particular reason other than you get to put on 3D glasses and say "WOW! It JUMPS right out of the SCREEN!", or alternatively "Oww, my eyes hurt", or "I don't have 3D glasses - what a horrible picture", or else "I do have 3D glasses - what a horrible picture".
The Crusading army was a shadow of it's former glory, They wearily hoped to strike one more blow to the fiendish Outlaws before retreating, the losses were only growing daily. Some deserted, but even more were cut off and killed by the rebels that surrounded them. But today things were different, the tropical glades around them were silent. The men grew nervous. Then they heard it, like the sound of thunder, but it didn't cease, then they saw the rapidly approaching enemy. The crusaders hurriedly strung their bows and buckled on armor, for the battle was about to begin!
This is my second entry to the Miscellaneous Category.
