All lives have to endure challenges, pain and hurt, sickness, losses in many forms, things to overcome.

Sometimes the struggle is hard and frightening.

Sometimes a person finds is difficult to cope and deal with what is happening in his/her life.

There seems to be no way out or the path that has to be walked is long and uncertain.

What people need most then is love.

Love for yourself, to be loved by a partner, family and friends.

Love is the light on any (dark) path.

While going that path, you need strength. Some find it in themselves, others get strengthened by other people.

Through words, a song, a poem, art, a picture, being in nature, being surrounded by loved ones.

Whatever it is that is hard in your life, I wish for you to overcome it by LOVE and by STRENGTH. By all that is in you.

These paintings are created for that purpose. I hope they will be a guide for you on your path.

Atlantic windstorm on the south coast of Nova Scotia

This Hydrogen alpha (Hα) picture of the Sun caught AR2827 "flaring". This means there was an active solar storm occurring while I was capturing the images. You can tell by the brightness of the area. There is a sunspot in the middle of the area. However, it is visually being overcome by the active flare. It is always interesting to observe the pattern of the plasma around active regions compared to the surrounding areas.

Newborn monarch butterfly #35 emerged this morning from the smallest chrysalis, and she was the smallest monarch butterfly this year. This photo shows her hanging from root of tropical milkweed plant because she fell when emerging from the small chrysalis and I used the root to quickly restore her to her typical hanging position so she could continue to properly develop her soft floppy wings. I noticed that she emerged from the chrysalis with asymmetrical wings, maybe due to constrictions inside the small chrysalis, and when she finally tried to fly away, she flew in circles three times, probably due to her wing imbalance. Then, after recognizing the need to compensate and make an adjustment for the imperfection, she flew up and away to some unknown destination, but probably never Mexico.

My very first image from our latest trip to The Lake District, Cumbria! The weather was extremely changeable, but we did manage to venture out every day thankfully, grabbing what shots I could here and there.

This was from our first evening and was taken at Keswick Landings, Derwent Water. This is a 40 second LE and the colours are as they were.

Hopefully I'll get time this weekend to start catching up with my many flickr friends and see what you've all been upto!

2019 Christian Dance Songs "God's Great Work Has Been Completed" | Praise God for Gaining Glory

We who follow Christ of the last days witness to the entire universe:

God’s great work has been completed.

Almighty God has appeared in the flesh, expressing truths to save mankind.

We’ve heard the voice of the bridegroom, we’ve been lifted up before God.

We’ve finally attended the Lamb’s feast, entered into the training of the kingdom.

Judgment has begun with the house of God, His disposition has been entirely revealed.

The truth of God’s words conquers us, we fall before God and worship Him.

Our hearts and minds have been fully laid bare by God’s words.

Undergoing God’s trials and refinement, our corrupt dispositions are cleansed.

Through God’s judgment we see His righteousness and holiness.

God’s people are obedient before Him, and are faithful to God to the death.

God has thoroughly defeated Satan, making a group of overcomers.

We who follow Christ of the last days witness to the entire universe:

God’s great work has been completed, He has gained full glory.

Almighty God has unfolded the judgment of the last days, launching the Age of Kingdom.

All denominations are in a panic, all people are forced to seek the true way.

The clever virgins hear God’s voice and are raised before God before the disaster.

All who refuse to accept Christ of the last days will sink into disaster.

God is almighty and wise in His work, He sorts all people according to their kind.

All nations and peoples come to the light, submitting before God’s throne.

The prospects of the kingdom are infinitely bright, displaying a fervent scene.

The disaster will obliterate evil humanity, revealing God’s righteousness and majesty.

Every word of God’s is being fulfilled, God’s words will complete all things.

The kingdom of Christ has appeared on the earth, God lives alongside His people.

We who follow Christ of the last days witness to the entire universe:

God’s great work has been completed, He has gained full glory.

We who follow Christ of the last days witness to the entire universe:

God’s great work has been completed, He has gained full glory.

He has gained full glory.

Life is full of challenges. Economic difficulties, serious illnesses, family problems, and political unrest plague people on a daily basis. How a person faces each challenge that comes their way however, says much about their character, who they are on the inside. Some people draw strength and inspiration from the experiences of others. Many famous poets from both the past and present have helped and inspired people to face and overcome life's many challenges through the words of their poems. Such poems help people to see they are not alone in their struggles and that it is possible to overcome their problems.

But then again all of that is shit, I just wish he'd hurry up my feet killing me and I'd love a cup of tea

Imagine a flat beach with this incoming wave. The whole surface will be dark and more or less even and unimpressive. But The obstacle in the way forces the water use force, change its shape, wrap around the rock to overcome the obstacle. And only then its beauty shows up in full.

Overcome space, and all we have left is Here. Overcome time, and all we have left is Now.

professor at CCNY for a physiological psych class told his class about bananas. He said the expression 'going bananas' is from the effects of bananas on the brain. Read on:

This is interesting.

After reading this, you'll never look at a banana in the same way again.

Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.

Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes.

But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS: Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.

Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.

Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school ( England ) were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.

Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.

Hangovers: One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.

Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.

Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.

Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.

Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.

Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and chips. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.

Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.

Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a 'cooling' fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand , for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.

Smoking &Tobacco Use: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking.. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal..

Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels.. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack..

Strokes: According to research in The New England Journal of Medicine, eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%!

Warts: Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape!

So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, 'A banana a day keeps the doctor away!'

I ,a shy and quiet boy since young, was a target of the bullied throughout my 8 years of childhood. The memories of being bullied continuously have had a little or more effect on my confidence and activeness. I shut myself off from the society, claimed myself a weak person and brought myself with a gloomy, tired and scary look.

I’ve never believed in myself…

I came to photography when my dad lent me his camera when I was 6. From the first clicks, I already felt "this is where I belong". Photography helps me recreating the world seen through my eyes and felt by my soul, helps me remembering faces, smiles, memories of a passing time. And it even reminds of the things which are supposed to be forgotten.

I chose dark art because dark art is a fine illustration of the world I am seeing - a world of melancholy and sadness. Through dark art, I can dig deep into the darkest place of a human, right there, people are living in the own nature: weak, crazy and also vulnerable. Being an introvert person, dark art is also a way of relieving the soul, showing people who I am, what I am and what I’m capable of - something that I rarely share with anybody. As a result, I became more open with everyone, gave more laughs and talked more to the people around me. "You look way more better then?" - my friends said in satisfaction.

I never stop doubting myself ...

I’ve been reeling from my "what should I do" and "I’m not good enough" thinkings, which makes me deviate from my original path. Always wish to be like other photographer pals: big relationships, big interacts and having a support team while I am alone all the time,… I gradually forget that I’ve lost myself, forgotten that my path was different from all of them. I am an independent existence, I exist uniquely and I should’ve not been anyone’s copy. It’s been a difficult time right now, I was once again separated myself from everyone, even the ones I love so much. Always bringing suspense and fear of any situations. And even when writing these words, those emotions are making my hands shake and my heart beats so fast.

I know that there aren’t any obstacles that cannot be overcome if I dare to face, and I know that nothing can stop me if I truly believe that I can do it in my heart. However, "How?", "How can I really believe in myself?”, "How can I become more confidence?", "How can I make this? "How can I do that ...?", “How…?”, “How…?” and "How ...?". I’ve spent a great deal of time resting, thinking and rearranging things that were still unfinished. Those fears are still here, those thoughts are still here, and the answer I still cannot find out but at least this time I will try, something at least makes me feel better. And I hope someday I can find my own answer and be happy with it.

"And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness cannot overcome it!” (John 1:5) Jesus is the True Light of the world that no darkness can overcome. Though the days are evil and dark now, His Light will overcome the darkness to the farthest corners of the earth and by His great power He will forever rid the world of the presence of evil. Let us hasten the day of His return when every wrong will be made right and every tear will be wiped away!

"Unresisted Temptation"

Having "never" tried chocolate before, I was overcome with curiosity during this shoot...

This photo is a symbol of what I have overcome. My past has been long and hard, and I can honestly give the advice now, that it's okay to overcome your past.

I've had my rough spots, and so has many others.

The reality of this is, don't be afraid to move forward and leave your past, things do get better.

And the truth is good things do come to those who wait, and thats a word from the wize.

Overcome by this

Holiest of altars

So pure, so rare, to witness such an earthly goddess

That I've lost my self-control, beyond compelled to throw this dollar.

Down before your

Holiest of altars

I'd sell my soul, my self-esteem a dollar at a time

For one chance, one kiss, one taste of you, my Magdalena

I bear witness to this place, this prayer, so long forgotten

So pure, so rare, to witness such an earthly goddess

That I'd sell my soul, my self-esteem a dollar at a time

A circular footbridge between the Palais de la Nation, built in the 18th and 19th centuries, and the Forum, construction of which was completed in 2016.

The layout of the Forum allowed the Chamber to have up-to-date offices and committee rooms. Some of the services, the parliamentarians without forgetting the hemicycle are still installed in the Palais de la Nation. The absence of a connection between the two buildings, located on either side of rue de Louvain, however creates practical and security problems that the footbridge will have to resolve.

This bridge designed by the architectural firm "Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen", selected following a competition, received the name "Tondo", a circular form of painting popular during the Renaissance. It leaves from the second floor of the House of Parliamentarians of the Palais de la Nation to arrive on the 1st floor of the Forum overlooking rue de Louvain. Reflective panels line the sides.

The engineers had to show inventiveness to overcome the problems linked to the configuration of the premises under the aegis of the Carole-regian company chosen for this phase of the work: the temporary association between the Phenicks sprl and the SA R. De Cock.
