A bit of work on some new products today. Among them, this brand new Accurate Reel that I received this week. For this image I used my SB800 triggered with Nikon CLS. One was behind a Lastolite Ezybox, a great softbox for the small speedlights. This was positioned right over the reel. Then I did a bit of an experiment with the Orbis Ring flash. I put it with the other SB800 on camera right, just the shadows a bit. The result is clearly visibile on the side plate of the reel (on your right). The Orbis Flash footprints is easy to recognize

shot with an SB800 + Orbis ringflash at 105mm, f/11. Should've been at f/16 or more. would've worked with some 400 speed film. i shot this roll of cruddy, expired 160 at 100.
a shoot @ her place. i saw her wall and had to do something with it.

Underexposed background by 1.5 stops and filled in with Orbis Ring flash on camera right with pentax afg360 fired by cactus v4. Snooted afg360 fired by cactus v4 from camera left to light a little more fo the face.

Shot with Orbis ring flash (pentax afg360) on camera left and ceiling bounce flash both triggered with Cactus V4's. Pentax k200d with 35mm lens. Product shoot.
Testing out new Orbis Ring Flash on and off camera. Distance shots were shot with Orbis on Tripod fired by Twin-Link Wireless with manual settings

For someone that doesnt like being infront of a camera, i am the only reliable test subject which makes things tricky.
Had a backdrop idea combined with a ring flash to see what i could create. not quite there but not far off what i had in my head.
Shot on the 5DII, 580 EX II through orbis ring flash, TTL via off camera cord.
