As I was driving to work, saw some orange in the sky. Had about 10 minutes to spare, so drove to the beach, and saw what was probably the best sunrise so far during winter. The sun was already starting to sneak past the horizon. And in less than 4 minutes it went up into the clouds above.
I am constantly amazed how small the window of oppurtunity is with sunrises. You wouldn't believe it would only be a few minutes unless you had experienced it yourself.

Trey's shoe came off and i used this as an oppurtunity to teach Trey
the word "shoe", which i think he knew already because I told him
"Trey go get your shoe" and he ran to get it.
Kiran decided to help me put Trey's shoe on. On one of the pictures
she was smelling them and said "stinky shoes", which is a game we
play. Stinky toes and stinky shoes is a favorite.
Oh how good is to work with kids!!! :) ..... Everyday I see them grow
and change so much....
A group made up of students from MBS in Marketing, MSc in Business Management and MSc in E-commerce had the oppurtunity of visiting Shanghai for a week on a trip led by Dr. Theo Lynn. Check out the photos. Next year it could be you on the trip of a lifetime!

Alicia & I jumped on the oppurtunity to have a one-on-one encounter with two tiger cubs at the Wildlife Reserve in St Augustine. It was awesome. We can now scratch that off the "bucket list".
After 5th grade, the kids have an oppurtunity to attend a 3 day camp in the mountains sponsered by the school district. No parents are allowed to go.
I said to myself, "I'll let him be away from me for that long WHEN PIGS FLY!"

so i finally took the leap to the 7d, i mean my 40d was a great camera but getting on a bit, i want to get into filming and getting better quality shots so naturaly with 8ps and full hd the 7d was the way forward. the weather wasnt the greatest today but still gave me an oppurtunity to try it out on my 170-500mm sigma, so far so good !
As AFC Wulfrunians were playing at Quorn i took the oppurtunity to make a day of it and spent some time in the morning at the Great Central railway's Quorn & Woodhouse station.It was more fun than the football and the natives were much friendlier

While on my trip to visit Stonehenge, Salisbury is just down the road. So I took the oppurtunity to pay a visit. I would recommend the ecellent park & ride bus serveice, which drtops you right in the heart of the city.
Drive to Dandabah in the Bunya Mountains and park in the picnic area. The walking tracks can be easily accessed through the picnic area
Take the route signposted for Festoon Falls. The falls will soon be heard and seen. The falls offer a wonderful photo oppurtunity.
Continue on this track to Pine Gorge Lookout, Tim Shea Falls and the Hollow Strangler Fig Tree. It is a 4km circuit track (easy to moderate)

I went up to the top of the Anglican Cathedral to take some photos. They open it on Thursdays until late, just for a few weeks, so it made for a great oppurtunity.

This woodpecker is a regular visitor to the garden, but rarely do i get the oppurtunity to photograph her with much variety. Today, she chose to pose and i think i would have got alot more shots with the omd, alas that is back with olympus at the moment but the e30 performed ok

On October 28th, Jigme Norbula completed his 550 mile Walk for Tibet from MN to Toronto, Canada. We shouted slogans and demanded the Chinese Consulate for a Free Tibet on the International Human Rights day. I feel blessed to have been blessed by his presence and to have captured the oppurtunity in print. You will be missed. Om mane padme hun rhi.

One of the specifiactions provided by the clients, The Design Foundry and Kolorcraft, was that the leaflet contained a flow chart of the design and print processes. This information sheet was provided by the clients while on a 'design and production' visit to the clients. It briefly states the processes used and so provides research and help for designing the flow chart for the leaflet.
The visit to The Design Foundry and Kolorcraft also provided the oppurtunity to collect research, information and photographs which might be of use in the leaflet design process.
Station Square is a 52-acre indoor and outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment and office complex located in the South Shore neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Commerce Court at Station Square is a 8-story Class-A office building with first level retail and restaurants. DLAstorino Architects was selected by Forest City Enterprises to develop conceptual design oppurtunities in an effort to enhance the street presence along West Carson Street, the building's main West entrance, and the main level interior streetscape.

The location is Monkey Hill Cabin, right before the reversal points that look more than impressive to the eye, the train-Karjat-Pune shuttle is stopped for mandatory checks and it gives me the ample oppurtunity to explore the Green Biodiversity Hotspot of the Shayadris kissed by the monsoons in a state of eternal bliss.
Monkey hill had alwways attracted my attention owing to some albums in IRFCA that I browsed through way back in 2007. Another location I was madly attracted to was Doodhsagar Falls, despite of enjoying feel of the falls I could not see them alas my train that day was 12780 Goa Express that too running bang on time.. :(
Hopefully I would comeback to Goa and see Doodhsagar for my eyes !
