Found this sculpture in Krakow, Poland. The oppurtunity was just too good to miss. This is a three exposure HDR and after that i have cross processed it.
While driving the Nullarbor Plain from SA to WA I saw these rainclouds in the distance. It only rains here 3 times a year on average. I took the oppurtunity to stop the car and take a photo.
So often you wander around with your camera and the photo oppurtunities just don't arise. At other times, the best photos get missed because you've put your camera down for the first time in about three weeks. As chance would have it, this seal wriggeld his way in just as I's attached my 200mm lens ;-)

Once again, good to be home. I really missed my OCD-organized-by-color closet. And all the blurry photographic oppurtunities it presents me with.
I photographed this picture located in the Science & Technology department at UNF as I took the oppurtunity to photograph the water fountain at a sunny day like this.

Ordered to B&Q by the gaffer this morning so took the oppurtunity to pop into the SVR and get the first Santa Special of the day,glorious weather as well
I've been spending the last two weeks doing work experience at RPM, a creative agency who specialise in experiential marketing.
During the first couple of days the guys there wanted some of my work on their walls, so they set me on a brief of creating all the signage for each of their different departments, there's nine of them and each illustration relates to what they do in each department. It took a lot of time to redefine each design and make small tweaks, but once finished we were both really happy with the end results.
Quite soon these will all be printed as vinyls and placed on the walls around the company building. Great work, and cool people there, thanks for the oppurtunity guys!

I took time out from watching for migrating eagles (they have started to come back but the peak flights are still a couple of weeks away) to take a short stroll in a nearby wood lot. I saw chickadees, nuthatches and hairy woodpeckers but this downy is the only bird that afforded a photo oppurtunity.
Chinese delegates representing universities in China came to visit Macquarie University. This was a fantastic oppurtunity to learn what sustainable intiatives are being undertaken and to exchange knowledge.

This photo equipment belonged to my other grandfather that passed away 7 years ago.
I love that we shared a common interest and it is really special to me to be given something that he held very dear. Both cameras and lenses seem to be in good condition, they have their own leather case and there was even a light tripod in it's own little bag.
I can't wait to try them out, does anyone have tips on what kind of film to buy?
I started a photocourse a couple of weeks ago and I will have the oppurtunity to take a few lessons in a dark room, yay!
As much as i hate to see caged animals, it is really great to have to oppurtunity to take photos of them. I love animals and i never get tired of snapping photos of them..they are truly magnificent!

While on my trip to visit Stonehenge, Salisbury is just down the road. So I took the oppurtunity to pay a visit. I would recommend the ecellent park & ride bus serveice, which drtops you right in the heart of the city.

There was potentially a far better shot higher up on the climb out of the canyon, but the trouble is you never know when you're on the last hairpin/switchback until it's too late.
On another morning I might have turned back, but we were in front of a white pickup, and would probably have let him by if we'd stopped or turned around, with no oppurtunity to pass him again for perhaps ten's of miles.
Riding behind another vehicle was very uncomfortable due to the dust - a visor was unusable after a very short time, with the sun in one's eyes.
Drive to Dandabah in the Bunya Mountains and park in the picnic area. The walking tracks can be easily accessed through the picnic area
Take the route signposted for Festoon Falls. The falls will soon be heard and seen. The falls offer a wonderful photo oppurtunity.
Continue on this track to Pine Gorge Lookout, Tim Shea Falls and the Hollow Strangler Fig Tree. It is a 4km circuit track (easy to moderate)

I can say for sure that the previous week was the shortest of my life. I franticly ran around Tampa trying be everywhere and do everything. Now, I sit beside an airport window with burnt skin and blistered feet. I wonder what I missed, what I could have done differently. I feel satisfied, yet hungry for more. Florida offers so many beautiful photographic oppurtunities. Is it because things are so different than home that I find pleasing compositions everywhere? I tried hard to refrain from snapshooting the entire time that I was here and still filled most of my memory cards.
I know this, though: the next couple weeks I will be posting Florida pictures. Hopefully to remind us that Spring will soon be here.

First shot of a personal project I´m working on, called todro.
Mainly it is some portfolio work but let´s see what the future will bring on it.

I had the oppurtunity to photograph my "cousins" wedding. It was just wonderful. Kate looked absolutely stunning as did Chris. This is just a preview of some of the shots I have from the wedding.

His Majesty the King of Norway came to visit the coastguardvessel I served on last year, and while having the responsibility for serving him and his guests champagne and brandy on the bridge, alone mind you, I also helped setting the tables (if that's what it's called). The Falls at McCormick's Creek State Park. I spent a day in Brown County last fall and a gentleman I had a conversation with suggested this place as a great photo oppurtunity as well. I took a different route home to stop by and check it out. I'm glad I talked to that guy and glad he helped me find this place.
