I knew a trip to a local garden center would provide plenty of oppurtunities to capture something for the topic, and sure enough the spring like weather and selection of flowers didn't disappoint.

At the beginning of the day this picture was to be titled also aka Death of the family farm. In a surpizing twist my cousin Candy came up with the top bid. Let me take this oppurtunity to congratulate her and to make sure I'm on the list for the house warming party!
I liked this image. Because i captured the tree, but i liked the background with house in it. i enjoyed the colors of the picture. I took the oppurtunity to capture the pictures while the sun was still setting.i used a levels adjustment, contrast and hue and sat for my edits.
As the rest of the country was basking in glorious sunshine last week, I decided to take a trip out to the coast and soak up the rays on the beach and get some shots.
No such luck. Within a half mile of the coast (Spurn Point on the East Yorkshire coast) I was suddenly shrouded in a sea mist, which led for a cold and murky couple of hours by the sea, and very little oppurtunity for any decent photos.
I picked Riverbank State Park for my vantage point and was rewarded with three close flyby oppurtunity and the Shuttle turned on final approach to JFK right over my head. I was jumping and shouting like and 8 Year old: IT FLEW OVER MY HOUSE!

As much as i hate to see caged animals, it is really great to have to oppurtunity to take photos of them. I love animals and i never get tired of snapping photos of them..they are truly magnificent!
Alicia & I jumped on the oppurtunity to have a one-on-one encounter with two tiger cubs at the Wildlife Reserve in St Augustine. It was awesome. We can now scratch that off the "bucket list".
Had a late lunch at the Moon. Got an oppurtunity to snap this.
With the learning of the DoF I am constantly keeping my eye open for some shots to practive and learn.

I always knew I wanted my first trip to be to Africa, and I chose Ghana because I have friends in Ghana and would love to help people in their country".

The failure of Pruitt Igoe lies in the failure to comprehend, and ultimately understand the complexity that lies in the metabolic nature of the community. Our proposal is inherently communal, based on the integrated process of reviving the pre-existing Pruitt-Igoe Community.
The masterplan is an incremental plan based on a design strategy that allows for adhoc growth over time. Continuity of the urban grid and minimal intervention is desired, whilst not imposing upon the established urban forest.
The memorial park will be established centre north of the site as a non-specific focal point, designed as both a place for internalisation, and a relaxed space for community engagement. This gesture is the catalyst of a renewed direction for the site.
The hierarchy of road types are also established to provide a framework of diverse dwelling types to capture the boundaries of forest and foreseen development. The grid is constructed into Avenues, Main Streets, Laneways and Paths, providing oppurtunity for varied domestic and commercial mercantile opportunities.
The foreseen pattern of growth along these interventions is intended to create micro neighbourhoods, resulting in growth along roads and avenues. The organic mode of growth is intended to attract both a commercial and domestic economy.
Preservation of shared garden spaces for each neighbourhood block explores the notion of Garden Orientated Development, where convenient human amenity is vital. This strategy allows for both private ownership of the dwelling and the shared ownership of common land within the neighbourhood block.

I had a wonderful oppurtunity to shoot at a quarter horse farm (Ivy Lane Racing) this morning...Thanks to the owner Don Salhauzser, my friend Phil and his daughter Kathleen and a special thanks to Phil's daughter Maddie...
However, it isn't all doom and gloom! Here, we can see that used in the correct way, online visibility can be the key to opening all of the doors on the way to employment. Emphasis on the USED IN THE CORRECT WAY.

A biker gang rode up while rappelling. They were try to act tough, but when we offered the oppurtunity to go rappelling they all turned us down.
An opportunity to have access to the Malting’s Flax Mill in Ditherington, Shrewsbury.
This was a fantastic chance to see inside this iconic building that has been left to ruin, the place where my father (pictured here), worked for many years up until the day it was closed and left to rot, this building is one of the first iron framed building to have been built in the world and one of the oldest still standing and we have let it down.
My father couldn’t wait to get back inside, to look around and relive some of the many memories he had of this place of work, it was fascinating to listen to him tell myself and Joshua (my son & his Grandson) of how this building worked and the conditions they worked in. His face lit up every time he talked of his memories and he was disgusted in the condition it was in, as when the Malting’s closed the building was in great condition and well maintained.
Thank you to the Flaxmill Maltings Community Arts open exhibition for the oppurtunity to go inside and photograph the buildings and for the chance to listen to my father relive some of his memories.

As Nicky and I both turned 40 this year we decided to do something different and went down to Kent for a few days. On one of these days we visitied the WIldlife Heritage Foundation. It's not a zoo and you cannot just visit. You have to book in advance. They host various days out and one is a photographic experience. During this day you get to see the cats up close and fairly personal, i.e. right up to the mesh. You can push your lens right though to get pictures of these beautiful animals without the annoying mesh, wire or bars that usually surround the compounds. It was a great day out and I would recommend it to everybody who loves photography and big pussycats!!!

I love taking photos of children but rarely get the oppurtunity. They were so excited about whatever is in the box. I suppose I could have asked!

A cherished project of mine to capture and document the life by the gigantic river Brahmaputra that enters India in the north-eastern frontier state of Arunachal, travels through Assam and has its confluence with the ocean in Bengal.
I have been having discussions with quite a few eminent who have been born an brought up on the banks of this river. I have just started the project as I my work has started taking me to Dibrugarh University where I have become a catalyst to empower the youth of Assam. It is a blessing.
First of the dancers who have been kind to participate are two students, Sattriya dancers, from centre of performing arts at DU - Bhagyashree Senapati and Purasmita Bordoloi; Also I had an oppurtunity to capture.a bunch of youth who do their physical training on the banks of Brahmaputra, The fishermen's village that lives on Brahmaputra
