Today I had the oppurtunity to shoot a band while they where recording a demo in our studio. It was a fun shoot and I acyually felt that I learnt a lot. The light was evil, so I had to resort to B&W processing, but I really love how they came out. Still think there’s a lot I should’ve done and shot, but for a first time I’m quite pleased with the results. So was the band ;-)
As much as i hate to see caged animals, it is really great to have to oppurtunity to take photos of them. I love animals and i never get tired of snapping photos of them..they are truly magnificent!
I took the oppurtunity whilst Abbey was offeing for me to take her photo. She is such a beautiful girl inside and out. I am very lucky to have her. x
Hung out with some cowboys Kade and Nate this last week. Had some good times and got some sick pics. Rodeos are tons of fun if you've never had the oppurtunity to hit one up.

Wow on 5.6.7 I struck lightning for the first time ever. This is my first attempt and first success at catching a bolt. It's not the best scenic oppurtunity shooting from your porch but I learned some lessons on how to capture bolts. This shot, my first attempt, was ruined by having the F-stop too wide open. You live... You learn.

Volunteer Kendra Jackson in Ghana Kasoa, medical program. "Volunteering abroad has been something heavy on my heart for a few years now, and I am finally in a position where I will have free time in the summers and wanted to jump on the oppurtunity to give back. I always knew I wanted my first trip to be to Africa, and I chose Ghana because I have friends in Ghana and would love to help people in their country".

Drove past and figured I'd stop and take a shot. Zoomed all the way to 128 and still not close enough. Really should have stopped closer but the farmer was next to it.
Actually, come to think of it, I should have stopped closer. Asked the guy if it was alright to take a picture of it, hell take a picture of him.

Mile 693.2, we made it to the North Shore, and FAST! Unfortunately, we did
run into rain AGAIN!! It was only for about 10 miles, but it did give me
the oppurtunity to try out the new rain gear.... Successful, but still not
worth but I paid for those damn things! Well, we miscalculated (well I did)
and we figure that if we go straight from SB to Duluth to home, we will be
under the 1000 mile mark. I may just try to talk Ang into seeing what
Western Wisconsin has to offer and tour there. Unless of course it rains,
in which case its either straight home or extended vacation with night in
Duluth! This week has gone by so fast it's crazy! We'll see what happens
tomorrow, but with good weather, we'll be back in the Twin Cities.

Well, the views on my stream just sky rocketed to 2,OOO+! :) I'm very happy, thank you so much! :D I know. . .this isn't my best. Today, it was only 5O degrees O_o I was spoiled by our warm weather. Also, I've decided to focus a little more on non-AG photography. Not that I'm growing out of it, just that I should extend my skills (skill, if I dare call it that) beyond dolls. Spring here is beautiful. This is a great oppurtunity(:
