Jewel Mountain Lake is one of the very few natural bodies of water in the Boulder area. The Jewel Mountain property is a Habitat Conservation Area, a place so biologically valuable that visitation is limited. Photo by Dave Sutherland.

Taken at Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve while on their First Tuesday Happy Hour Hike (a monthly activity I'd highly recommend). You can find a list of their upcoming activities here.
