Outdoor screen at the Open Space for the Traverse City Film Festival. Jurassic Park starts as soon as it gets dark enough.
...at least, that was the plan. A thunderstorm came up, and the film was cancelled. Monty Python and the Holy Grail will be tomorrow, and they'll show Jurassic Park next year.
The goal: 25 tons of garbage, out of the river and surrounding trees. Roughly 4,000 volunteers spread out over 15 community sites for FoLAR's 23rd Annual La Gran Limpieza: The Great Los Angeles River CleanUp on April 28.
