The property covers 13.5 acres, some wooded and some open, plenty to walk around - in total privacy.
Thanks to Girl Scout Troop 60016, we were not offered straws with our drinks at The Counter on Cal Ave. Fewer plastic straws means less plastic in our bay and oceans. They've worked hard to get the word out and lots of area restaurants have joined the program. We ran across this tower while hiking through Rancho San Antonio Open Space. Loved all the intersecting lines with the sun in the background.

Moy Sutherland carved and painted this paddle. It features Ix'toop, the grey whale and some harpoon motifs. It was a gift from the youth to me. Given to honour our working relationship and the work I have done with them over the years to help everyone pull together.
Outdoor screen at the Open Space for the Traverse City Film Festival. Jurassic Park starts as soon as it gets dark enough.
...at least, that was the plan. A thunderstorm came up, and the film was cancelled. Monty Python and the Holy Grail will be tomorrow, and they'll show Jurassic Park next year.
