To my 55" Samsung flat screen that got destroyed in the lightning storm last weekend. Our house took a direct lightning hit and wiped out all kinds of things like televisions, modem, router, phones. vcr, dvd, ect ect....I'm just now getting everything up and running so I'll be trying to catch up soon.

Who's ready for the long holiday weekend? By the looks of it, I would say that this guy is. LOL. Actually, this greater prairie chicken is jumping ... but not necessarily for joy.. He's ready to land after arriving at the lek ... ready to take on whichever male wants to engage ... or even look at him. It's all quite comical and interesting to observe. Between the showing off, fighting amongst the males, displaying for the females, and other actions, it's a non-stop party! :-)
I hope that everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend!

This was an experimental painting for me. My goal was to create a huge open space. I wanted huge clouds in background with small cows in forefront. I am pleased with the final presentation. I hope you like it.
