2019 開放空間學習工作坊

The snow-draped Halfway House on Flagstaff Road. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression, this and other stone shelters are historic landmarks.

This image was part of my experimentation with cinematography, as part of a series exploring adolescence, reflecting the youthful and innocent style of the clothing. The series focuses partly on the excitement of adolescence while still being young and having desires for the future, while also focusing on the poignancy of the loss you feel in adolescence; about to lose your childhood.

At the time I took this picture, Cara was telling me some standup comedy routine she'd heard about spanking. It's entirely irrelevant, but when I took it I made the dire threat that I would relay that context in the caption of the photo.
