OK, I'll admit it. Over the last 7 months I've had a few encounters with wild horses. All of them have been such uplifting and liberating experiences for me. There's something quite special about a wild horse, roaming its protected territory ... so vast and barren ... yet those horses have an immense projection of life to me. In a world that places so much rules, regulations, and restrictions, it's quite refreshing to see them roam freely, interact with wild abandon, and seem so incredibly happy. Does anyone out there know what I'm feeling? If so, perhaps you can help me convey it properly. :-) I just know that it makes me quite happy.

This one was photographed in the wilds of Wyoming. Another was nearby, but compositionally didn't make this image. I pray that they will remain free and protected.
