Deer, seriously, have always tried to take care of you on the property here, BUT, we gotta reach an agreement...y'all really need to start eating those d#$% sweet gum trees and leave the other trees alone. I like the oaks, elms, cedars and holly but ya gotta help me with the sweet gum. there's a bunch of them y'all's height how about some help. Appears that y'all don't care for them any more than I do.

Malagasy giant chameleon or Oustalets's chameleon (Furcifer oustaleti) - While photographing this chameleon, it seems as if I distracted him, as he reached to another branch then completely missed. I guess having two eyes facing in opposite directions does not help with depth perception. I had quite a good chuckle at his expense, and he managed eventually to grab the branch he wanted and slink off to be by himself for a while.
if you know what I mean? 😄😄

A misspelled Logo. The name on the side of the building was right. This was the site of the Twisted Root burger restaurant that closed 2 years ago. If you look close you can see where the restaurant sign (now removed) covered the misspelling. The restaurant featured a musical theme and had signed guitars, albums and Cd's covering the walls.
Pull up a chair, sit down and watch an interesting program with me. Let's prove together what they say about American psychopaths...! wink

Well today I peeped behind a leaf to find my Lubber friend and... this is what I saw!
I didn't mean to intrude, of course. Guess I shouldn't have been surprised. They're all grown up now and after all it is Spring. So now I'll be on the lookout for a whole new flock of tiny navy blue... "Young Lubbers."
