Well today I peeped behind a leaf to find my Lubber friend and... this is what I saw!
I didn't mean to intrude, of course. Guess I shouldn't have been surprised. They're all grown up now and after all it is Spring. So now I'll be on the lookout for a whole new flock of tiny navy blue... "Young Lubbers."

An over-cooked portrait of my grandmother baking cookies, shot in my kitchen.
Setup:
• AlienBee B800 @ 8:00 through a gridded octabox.
• AlienBee B800 @ 3:00 through a beauty dish approximately 10 feet high and aimed down (for fill light in the background).
• AlienBee B1600 @ 12:00 through a 10-degree grid on top of the cabinets, aimed onto my grandmother's head for a rim light.
• 1200-watt fog machine behind my grandmother.

A narrow boat entering Linton Lock near the village of Linton on Ouse. This lock has quite a rise and fall as can be seen by. the water mark on the lock side The boat was skillfully re-position neatly in the lock.
At the lock there is Lock House Cafe which serves good food.
The Linton Lock weir is a listed structure, built in 1768-9 as part of efforts called for in a 1767 Act of Parliament to improve access to York, Boroughbridge and Ripon by cargo barge
In the 1920s a concerted effort was made to harness the power of the weir which continued will 1960. The crumbling remains of the large turbine house from this era still stands
The next hydropower to be generated at the site was the current 100kW Archimedes screw turbine installed in 2012 and now a new additional 280kW Archimedes screw turbine is being installed at the Linton Lock weir.
