When I got to work on Thursday, this is the first thing I saw. You can't tell from this angle, but had this Subie rolled a little bit further back, it would have fallen down off the ledge of a stone wall onto the level of parking spaces below.

I got the numbers wrong when combining an hdr set in photomatix and combined images from 2 different sets. I kinda like the effect even though it was accidental.
Seamus and Shortbread were enjoying their hot chocolate when it occurred to them....that they had just liquidated their only source as to where Inspector Baffle was being held. Oops!
Guess too much fresh fruit consumed when vacationing in the Islands. The offending bird had very good aim, wonder if the hilarity of the situations was lost.
I have declared this the best bruise ever -- isn't it magnificent? =)
It's roughly triangular, and up until today had a couple sets of parallel lines criss-crossing it. I have no idea how I managed those. It's around five inches across at the points, but I decided to put something next to it to give some sense of scale -- so here you go, it's bigger than my teddy bear's head. =)
(It's the result of falling off my bike. It also continues several inches 'north' below the muscles and skin, before reappearing in a decidedly not-going-to-have-its-picture-taken location.)
This shot was a complete accident, shot right after the previous photo as I was adjusting my shielding device (aka. cardboard box).
I kinda like it though, it's wacky.

Looks like this Great Blue Heron is about to topple over into the pond, but no, he quickly recovered his balance. Think he's been drinking? I wonder when he will head south. It's getting pretty chilly here in Massachusetts.

not thrilled with how this one came out... handspun baby blue yarn plied with scraps of metallic thread.
oops yarn.
Remember to check the tides when going out.
We laid anchor, chilled for a bit and had lunch, and an hour later we were stuck. The tide left the boat lying on dry land, and close by a sandbank emerged that we could enjoy the rest of our lunch on.

The wilted arrangements that Shellie and Genya re-did before the wedding without Heather knowing : )
So this is what happens when you forget to finish winding the film at the end of a roll. Oops.

Me and my cousin in DisneyWorld back in Sept. '02 We were at MGM Studios in one of Minnie's Diner's. It was my cousin's birthday that day so we got our faces painted and celebrated every place we went to. :p
My Aunt took this picture and I think it was such an awesome, in the moment shot. I love it a lot.
