The Egret had the snake about half swallowed but the snake refused to give up and continued to fight for it's life. Suddenly the egret regurgitated the snake and was unable to grab it. The snake landed in the water and was attempting to swim away to freedom but the Egret was having none of that and plucked the snake from the water. After a few more minutes of the snake trying to resist being the main course for breakfast, the Egret won out in the end. What a great stroke of luck it was to come upon this life and death struggle, Snake struggling for its life and the Egret struggling for a meal. I have one more photo I want to post tomorrow of these two and that will be the end of this little series. Have a great weekend.
Without the snow to form a nice track, the ground with all its bumps makes for an uneven path. And bumpy, uneven tracks make for muddy coats and snowpants.
"Why is it blurred?"
"Honey, press the * key. I've remapped the focus button."
"Ah, it's clear now."
"Focus on the eyes."

I'm such a turd. I steal Will's eyes for BJD faceup photos because they're my favorite. Somehow, I scraped the bottom part of her faceup, so she got a mini makeover yesterday to repair it. I darkened her liner (since I'm positive she's a girl now, lol) and added more top lashes. I don't know why I don't play with her more often, it's not like F16 is my grail or anything >_>.
I didn't realize until AFTER i got the pic's developed, that when I took this pic, he was actually PEEING on a bush! Oops! Sorry Benji, didn't mean to embarrass you!
Lesson of the day: never assume the immersion blender is unplugged - always check. The bones in your index finger will thank you.
The camera decided to take this-all by itself- when i put it down on the table.....
Well its better than some of the intentional photos I've taken
March 20. I took 1,800 pictures at the GAB! Gala and was overwhelmed by the prospect of even thinking of going through all of those looking for a shot for my 365. I have tons of red carpet-style shots which are good but I thought I'd go for the funny shot. This was all her idea. She said "here, make it look like I dropped them" and immediately dumped the tray on the floor. No worries, these were scraps on their way to the trash anyway and were not served to anyone.
