10/29/11 (299/365). I fell asleep before I could take a photo for October 28. I woke up, stepped outside and took a picture of the first thing I saw.

Not the best play by Ryan Zimmerman. They scored two runs on this hit.

This is what happens when you try to take a picture of a hailstorm at 2:30 am, through a window, using flash.

This fiasco happened around the corner from our house. I never did hear what happened but my guess is that they will never do that again.

The women's dresses were tied together? That's never happened before.

Sometimes you get lucky with a shot. This was taken as she took a shot on goal. It is closely cropped as I found the other players/crowd/ball humorous, but thoroughly distracting.

Ripped a trail of dust on the way back to the camp, must have tore a bead in the process. Filled it back up and it was just fine.

don't know what you were doing at 2am, but i was making my lunch.

Somehow my doll collection has substantially increased during the last few months.

(Better be just a phase...)

I had a go at this shot after seeing a similar photo somewhere on Flickr - if I ever find it again I will link back to say thank you. This kind of inspiration is one of the great things about this site.
