28.1.14... A very dull day today, the lowlight of which was the box of bud ripping as I lifted it out of the car and spilling all over the road!!

Xy takes my picture.

I think this is the first shot of me with this new pair of glasses.

I thought they were both shrines to Mary.

Oops. I don't think she will have any problems getting out of this.

It seems this loco got into a scrape with something.

This is actually one dye job after I really went orange. This was more like an ultrabright.

I know you're all distracted by my cleavage.

...a little damper than expected....

Eager to try out my dad's new camera, I came up with the brilliant idea of posing standing on a couple of logs, and as you see it resulted in a fall...

Slightly painful...

My sister immortalized the moment.

It got out OK!

Nice clear shot of Adam Abraham making a not nice play.

Disaster yesterday!

I was setting off to get some gull shots down at the beach when I dropped my camera on the pavement just outside my front door. Luckily (yes luckily) it landed on the 300mm lens that was fully extended, and this acted as a shock absorber, the only damage being a broken skylight filter.

Oops, I stayed up too late again.

This was taken around 2:00 am. I had SUCH a busy Sunday today that I didn't get to go to sleep until around 2:45. I took my photo (with no ideas...again) and edited what I could. The photo I chose, in my opinion, is one of the best I took today, and it's not really even in focus. But at least I got a lot of stuff done today.

This weekend is one of the major conventions that I work, and I've been very busy planning a vendor appearance there, among other things. Wish us luck!

(Yes, that laundry is hanging up on our shower curtain rod to dry because it can't dry in the dryer.)

My hand slipped when I was trying to crop my planned shot yesterday of a glass of lemonade yesterday! A fortunate accident I think :)

Nissan Frontier - one tough truck taking out a utility pole single-handedly. No one seriously injured, but power was out, much to the chagrin of the businesses there. Traffic headed to Waikiki was a mess!

The Budget truck was one of the garbage trucks for The 3 Day. They got stuck under the bridge and then got hit by a car. All about 100 yards from a pit stop. We drove walkers by, so they could get a better picture of it. We're nice like that.

Stupid boy!! Just ran out of petrol whilst out a short after tea ride!! Been working on the bike this afternoon fitting leads for the battery charger, found the contacts really cruddy & one terminal loose! Spent a while cleaning and putting Vaseline on all the electric contacts! Thought a short ride out would be just fine as the weather had improved too..!

I now know that the low fuel light doesn't work on the bike! (there is no 'reserve' tank on this bike)

Mind you I was told that the twin tanks were capable of taking me 200miles - I have done 192miles since collecting the bike on Sat and filling it up.. Not bad for a mix of motorway, rural & country roads..

Jill came in a taxi with the fuel can from the car! Then we had a nice ride home together in the sunset!

Plan your escape.
