Stepping into those guard boxes is not allowed, no matter how great the tourist snapshot would be...
Spencer House (I think), London.

Moral - don't run the speaker wire under the expensive (and apparently very hot) server motherboard. the smoke trail is where the wire was. hopefully the motherboard is ok (as well as the 8 cores of Xeon goodness plugged into it). One thing after another with this computer...
I messed up on this little (ok, not so little) guy's trunk, so he's going in the shop as-is as an "oops!" listing! Still super cute and cuddly :)

Oops, orange and brown has nearly bumped the green in this return to an autumn series. Green is on the way with two days in the 80s in March at Longtown. The area west of the Ponds Park are designated wetlands. I liked the shot across the wetlands on that day. Autumn in October is the season of flagging green colors, the "fall" of chlorophyll. Now, I am ready for some green again, while this February (almost bumped 70 today) Two records of 80s are fooling all the trees and plants into an early spring but then global warming is taking us way off the charts. The Koch brothers and climate changes are ushering in some real surprises including the new name of Kochistan for what had been the United States of America. I stuck with autumn for these edits. On this particular outing to the ponds, I found other shots at this pond. The trees, reeds, grasses and cattails were about to give up in that October.
I was out shooting what images I discovered. I made another loop of the path but the breeze was gone and there were no ripples on the waters. I am out here at Golden Ponds, the Longmont, Boulder County greenbelt and rec area and fortunately, the turn off is only a half-dozen blocks down Hover St. I wanted to look for possible locations even though the sky had been the pits. I wandered the green space and took some detail shots that were available,
