This is not a usual sequence for a crested goshawk. This guy enjoy a creamy poo first then enjoy its shrew. That satisfies its inlet and outlet in one seamless process.
I walked out the door this morning and thought "Great! A train has just arrived! And it's really empty!" Maybe not.
that was really his name :-)
Fortunately this pup is looking for a home while in a home being loved and cared for. Not all of the "oops" critters are that fortunate.

Trees falling across forestry roads is very common during the winter months. Most smart locals carry chain saws when traveling these roads. I had left mine in my truck. Road 5502, Siskiyou National Forest in northern Curry County, SW Oregon.
Spotted on Southerness beach ... it appeared as if it had been driven there at low tide - this was now at high tide and it was actually bobbing...
The lifeboat pics taken today are of the boat that turned up to see if any rescuing was required (it wasn't)
