We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

I could harvest blueberries once more from the garden.
The last time I picked up only 5 blueberries but this time, 13 blueberries!!
Some were sweet but some were sour and some were a little bitter.
It's difficult to know the "exact" time of cropping!
Decided to treat myself today to a nice healthy brunch. I had 3 very lean slices of turkey bacon. This bacon is 94% fat free. Also two organic free range eggs, sunny side up, organic cherry tomatoes and 1/2 of an avocado. I had a dollop of Vegenaise on the side. I put it on a bed of baby spinach. I sprinkled a little Romano cheese, Celtic Seasalt and fresh ground pepper on top. I ate every bit. It was very tasty!

At night, it began opening little by little.
I put it in the vase, and put the vase on the table.
The table was very messy but they became colorful boke. XD
still learning how to focus with this camera.....
but there's still something I like about this one.

The Flickr Lounge-Number(s) Or A Number Of...
These are the lovely flowers my daughter and granddaughter got me for my birthday on the 28th of October.
It was a busy day in St. Thomas, today. It was the first day of the Great Lakes International Air Show, so aircraft were flying overhead all day. Then I set up the bistro table on the deck, and set up my camera with the big gun, in the house to shoot whatever came my way. What came was Blue Jays, Cardinals, Orioles (all in their baseball finery) and a host of squirrels which came in three colourings/shades. There was grey, black, and blacker. So, theoretically, 3 Shades Of Grey, I guess.
a day with a few moments of sunshine...and minutes of thunder and lightning, and hours of rain.....
This first shot is a neighbour's house, seen through drops of rain on the window...
and then you see just the drops....
