Early on Sunday morning the faceless masses from the Tokyo suburbs catch trains into Harajuku for the weekly, unofficial 'Subculture Parade'. I went to the area straight from a Karaoke booth in Shibuya to catch the early risers sticking their slap on.

There's a fresh water reservoir across the by-pass where I live so I took Bubba and Milly there today...Its shallow at the edge but drops off really deep so Bubba had to wear his life-vest cos otherwise he'd sink like a stone!

Sorry for not being around for some two months, but I just could spare the time... partly because of a vacation and also because of work... (way too busy, not the best situation to be in, but sometimes it can't be helped). But I'm back and glad to be... ;-D

SouthWest Edgecombe quarterback Chris Ellerbe, left, and Rocky Mount quarterback Collins Cuthrell will face off Friday as their respective teams compete at the Rocky Mount Sports Complex.
The sports editor had the idea to shoot these two quarterbacks facing opposite directions so the end product would look like they were starring each other down--but from their own turf.
I lit and posed the two exactly the same way, and tried to have contrast with the skies. If only they had different color jerseys...
Captured this dragonfly just as it was taking off. ONE of my favorites from today's outing.
Once again shot was taken with a 70-200mm f/2.8 L II lens while hand holding it.
It's a local holiday in Aberdeen so we had the day off work. For a change we went for a short walk from the house!
