Hello everyone... no I haven't dropped off the end of the earth... yet... LOL!!!
Sorry for not being around for some two months, but I just could spare the time... partly because of a vacation and also because of work... (way too busy, not the best situation to be in, but sometimes it can't be helped). But I'm back and glad to be... ;-D

Esquimalt Rd., at the approach to the Johnson St. Bridge into Victoria, BC.
Costing for the bridge replacement project was first complicated by disparate elements aimed at taking advantage of the new crossing to address other transportation challenges.
The awkward curve from the bridge underneath the rail line to routes west of the bridge generated numbers of accidents that cost the public insurer no small change and had traumatic and sometimes tragic consequences for road users.
The equally ungainly access to the roadway from off-road trails alongside the railway and the nearby Galloping Goose were also targeted for improvement as part of the new road layout beyond the edge of the bridge project.
For taxpayers and insurance policy holders, the newly aligned road should return positive net benefits in collision reductions earned in reduced costs and liability exposures.
Senior leaders from the Commonwealth of Virginia, National Guard Bureau, Virginia National Guard and 29th Infantry Division send off Soldiers assigned to the Fort Belvoir-based 29th ID May 16, 2021, in Richmond, Virginia. More than 500 Virginia and Maryland National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 29th will conduct a 10-month federal active duty deployment in the Central Command Area of Operations as Task Force Spartan to provide leadership, command, control and in-depth staff analysis for Operation Spartan Shield. It's a local holiday in Aberdeen so we had the day off work. For a change we went for a short walk from the house!
Off with Runyon at his favorite place on earth - Swift Run Dog Park (near the intersection of Platt and Ellsworth and across the street from Lillie Park). Went to Swift Run on the morning of Sunday June 19th, 2022. Runyon had a lovely mud bath (before a visit to get a real bath at Pet Supplies Plus). We also met Duke the great dane, that was lots of fun.
